You gave me goosebumps too Dianna. I too love all kind of music and Classical is so wonderful to me. We have albums and a record player so we listen to all kinds of music. We even get the crackle when the albums play.
Love the word, perfect!

Big Hugs,
Debbie

Oh what a fun word today and I am DEFINITELY guilty of this!!

TSUNDOKU:
The act of acquiring books and letting them build up but never reading them!

I DO SO LOVE collecting books that I always tell myself someday I'll read them!!

Happy Sunday!

Yes! I am forever looking for a place to squeeze in an extra shelf to get the stacks off the floor while refusing to fill "the library's" empty shelves because those are reserved for books we have finished.

Tsundoku, my real self! I have stacks on top of the books on the shelves and our library shelves are already two deep. I need to expand to a couple more bookshelves in the library. If I took out some other pieces of furniture I think I could fit them in.

Ohhh, Today's word describes me, my son AND my husband to a T!

SOLIVAGANT:
A solitary wanderer, some who enjoys exploring alone!

I don't have to be alone, I enjoy others company as well but prefer to take my adventures at my on pace, time and wonder! :D I'm not afraid of being alone. :)

Umm, I enjoy my alone time but not out and about and exploring, as I need someone to talk to and share seeing something special I might see.
I admire women who can do their exploring alone sometimes. I had a dear friend in Colorado who really preferred to hike and explore with her doggies best and I understand that too. But I guess you can call me a big old scaredy cat! I was taught especially when living in Colorado you should always hike and explore with a partner just in case something happened to one of you, there is someone to call for help. I had told my girlfriend in Colorado this, her reply was a oh well it is a price I am willing to pay. But, she would drive miles and miles to hike and explore the mountains.
I do understand how there are advantages to exploring alone for many reasons and I admire women who can do it. So I hope none of you take offense to what I said:-)
Great word Dianna, thank you.

Big Hugs,
Debbie

I understand Debbie, I could never hike in the woods by myself. I followed a girl several years ago that hiked the entire AT by herself. She encountered Bears several times, but handled it rather well. A lot better than I would have!

Dianna, I’m loving the words you are finding. I’m the same with the books!! :) I love books…collecting them too. Reading them? Maybe some day! lol!!
Wanda Sue, was that book Grandma Gatewood’s Walk? I read that! Wowzers! That lady walk so many thousands of miles. And all alone for the most part. Great story! :)

I was thinking about Gatewood and Mary Jane as I read this word as well!

I like doing most of the planning for an adventure so it goes at my pace *winks to Diana*, but like Debbie, feel much more relaxed having some company with me for the actual "doing it." A sounding board to assure me I didn't miss the turn, that last stretch really was challenging and we've earned a break, and maybe to run just slightly slower than me if we encounter a bear, hehe. Kidding!

YES,YES!! Karen, I loved her book and was TOTALLY inspired by her journey! I feel I could do it or could have done it a little earlier in life. Now, like Debbie, it would probably be better for me to have someone tag along.

I love this word and the photo is awesome. Brontide reminds me of Savannah GA when we lived there,we had distant and very close thunder and loved it all!

Brontide is a wonderful sound if your stack of TBR has gotten out of control; not so great if you just hung your laundry or got used to the chilly pool water...

We had a heck of a storm today. EVERYTHING on my porch got soaked! But it was very relaxing!

I traveled to visit my grand daughter and great granddaughter. Time was short. It seemed like just yesterday I was running my fingers through Darafinas beautiful curls and here she is a mom of one and soon to be 2. Gosh time flies.
