Karen - thank you so much for the wonderful beat the heat package!

The peach ice cream was wonderful LOL!!!
This is my favorite though:

As soon as I get some peppers to ripen I'm ready for the snow :)

Thank you so much Not-So-Secret-Swap mate Denise,

This jumped out of my mailbox!

It feels like you know me so well already! I love the veggie stamped dishtowel and have been on the hunt for something just like that skrubba. Your wooden postcard is the perfect cozy beverage coaster to remind me of our wonderful correspondence while Fallon is busy filling the notebook with her plans for the day. This picture can't do justice to the smell of the rose geranium soap and precious dish it is perched on. Oh, and I cannot forget the best part-- how on earth did you find *crow* tissue paper?!

Thankyouthankyouthankyou! I promise I will get yours in the mail before we move onto the October swap!

Yay so glad you got it okay. I have so enjoyed our letter writing and will be writing soon. I used to get that crow paper from a lady I knew who had a shop near where I lived in NJ. I have never found any like it anywhere. I still have a bit left and to me it screams farmgirl.
Lol!

I am way behind sharing what sweet Dianna has sent my way! July brought the coolest postcards, delicious chai tea, a flower frog and some dark chocolate from Africa! ( unfortunately, the chocolate was unavailable for a photo..haha!)
Last month, she brought home treasures from her trip to Washington…a neck wrap filled with lavender that you can heat OR chill ( my mailbox smelled like lavender! I’m guessing the mail lady wished it was her package:) ) and the prettiest handmade pouch! Thank you, Dianna!!! I so appreciate you!

So I found a surprise from my not so secret swap sister in my mail today. Wow, Chris what an awesome pkg you sent. She put a bag of peanuts in there! Some flower seeds for my front flower bed. It is in desperate need of some weeding and love. Honey and honey balm, some tea that smells wonderful and a tea strainer. Trying that this afternoon. A cool looking journal. I skimmed through it and will settle down with it this afternoon during tea time! She also sent the cutest little French bulldog miniature and sweet litte table and chairs with the rosebud teaset. So the fairies will be invited to tea as well. She wrapped all the things in pretty squares of felt in my favorite color scheme. And to top it off She sent me a card with a beautiful lilac on it. Thanks so much Chris. I know I still owe you a letter. Will get to that soon!

Hooray, you got it! Hope your crows are more interested in "packing" peanuts than mine have been. ;)

I put the peanuts along the top rail of the deck and they come get them. I do that so I can get a good look at them.

Julie, my sweet N.S.S.S - I received your beautiful hand towels today, knome swedish dish rag and your lovely letter, thank you! The orange towel is beautiful and the sentiment brought tears to my eyes. Thank you, was a hard week for our family this last week, so I'm probably a little more emotional than normal. You have a beautiful heart, thank you for sharing your heart with me. xo

Look what Wanda Sue sent me for August, I forgot to post it. A purple Murrells Inlets t-shirt, I love it!
I should add these two photos toward my 20. Right Debbie?

Thank You April for the beautiful package. The junk journal,is so beautiful, I think I am going to use to record my favorite quotes and scripture.
I love the fall pin cushion and have several, ideas for the fabrics and ribbon.
You are so very creative.

I’m late posting my September NSSS swap from Debbie. It was great!! She included cute pillow cover, a couple current magazines, a good book to read, and a beaded bookmark with heart charm. Also, book-ish earrings, a leaf cut out of bark that is so unique and about two and a half yards of beautiful fall fabric. Thank you Debbie so much, I love it all!!

I wanted to give a close up of the bookmark and earrings, they kind of disappeared on top of the fabric.
Thanks again Debbie, I love these so so much!!

April Thank, you so much for my “staycation” package. What a lovely state you live in. We have a rain day here, with a whisper of snow later in the week so my plan for today is to do a little traveling.

Yay, Julie! Enjoy travelling Oregon on these brisk autumn days we're having! Our Three Sisters (mountain range here in our back yard) have already been dusted with snow as well. Stay warm, enjoy the seasonal change and find reasons to slow down and count blessings! XO

Oh gosh, ladies, this photo was not taken from my homes back yard, but from here in town. We can also see this view from our neighborhood, just not our own back yard. I wish! We have 7 peaks surrounding us... Mt Bachelor, Broken Top, The three sisters, Mt Adams, Mt Hood. All Volcanic. I live in a cookie cutter neighborhood in a beautiful part of our state, surrounded by gorgeous views, mountains and desert scapes. I meant our "back yard" is our beautiful Central Oregon, 5 of the peaks are within 30 minutes or so from us. Here is a great photo of our skyline here in Bend, includes 5 of our peaks
Smith Rocks which are my favorite of all!
