Posted - Jun 08 2010 : 06:55:30 AM Here's one that might work - take: 2-3 cloves of garlic, minced 2 tbsp hot pepper flakes 1 cup boiling water Put these in a 1 quart mason jar and screw on the lid, setting aside for 24 hours. Then, strain the liquid using a piece of cheesecloth. Return liquid to jar, add 2 tbsp dish soap and enough water to make up 1 quart. Pour insecticide product into an empty spray bottle ($1 at Dollar Stores!) and use this to spray cucumber beetles and plants where you've seen them. Supposed to have good residual effects too.
Hope this helps!! There are alot of different homemade insecticides out there, but this one mentions the cucumber beetles in particular.
