I have now decided that my new favorite thing to watch is baby chicks following their mama around the yard! I love watching the interactions between Isabella and the chicks, and everyone else in the yard. Mama Hens are awesome...

The other day we took a ride ina state forest close to us. When we followed along Pine Crek, we saw a mama mallard duck in the water with about 8 babies swimming along behind her. She quickly swam off the other direction with the babies just getting it behind her. It was so cute to watch! |

amy you are so right, they are so cute. i have a hen sitting right now and a turkey. hoping i get some babies too. we have some fryers now but your right, the mom makes it sooo much cuter. congratulations thanks for sharing happy days sherrye
