I have now decided that my new favorite thing to watch is baby chicks following their mama around the yard! I love watching the interactions between Isabella and the chicks, and everyone else in the yard. Mama Hens are awesome...

amy you are so right, they are so cute. i have a hen sitting right now and a turkey. hoping i get some babies too. we have some fryers now but your right, the mom makes it sooo much cuter. congratulations thanks for sharing happy days sherrye

The other day we took a ride ina state forest close to us. When we followed along Pine Crek, we saw a mama mallard duck in the water with about 8 babies swimming along behind her. She quickly swam off the other direction with the babies just getting it behind her. It was so cute to watch!
