Posted - Aug 25 2010 : 10:55:28 AM So I've been bitten by the farm animal bug but the city rules are that ya have to have 5 acres min to keep a goat or sheep . I'm hoping to maybe get an angora rabbit then to learn to spin natural fibers to knit with. I'd rather have a mini sheep, but I don't know if there is such a thing, so I thought I would get some thoughts from you gals on what animal to get if I'm interested in getting into natural fibers. Any thoughts?

Hope that helps

Posted - Aug 25 2010 : 12:11:03 PM I've heard of people raising texel guinea pigs for fiber. They're so cute. Angora bunnies are too.
