Posted - Jan 19 2008 : 12:43:38 PM My 4 year old has a huge problem with this. Her scalp is so dry that she actualy has huge flakes of skin peeling off. I have trouble keeping all of her skin in good condition, so it doesn't suprise me, but I need some ideas for fixing it. She has long hair so I don't want to rub oil in or anything.

Posted - Jan 23 2008 : 07:43:26 AM I have had really good results with Nizoral shampoo. You have to buy it from a drug store here, but it's over the counter (I think it used to be sold by prescription many years ago). It's a little pricey, but once you get things under control, you only have to use it once a week.
Hope this helps,

Posted - Jan 20 2008 : 12:18:48 PM i just bought a tea tree shampoo from a salon...i'll see how it works. i could have bought a bottle of the oil seperately and added it to her shampoo, but my oldest has a nasty cold and going 30 miles to a natural health store didn't fit into our weekend. i'll let you know how this new 'poo works.

Posted - Jan 19 2008 : 6:43:44 PM I have been having this problem too. As much as I hated too I broke down and bought head and shoulders. Two shampoos later and it was MUCH better!
