Hi! Just joined yesterday after seeing a link about this cool place on another message board! I'm excited to be here and look forward to getting to know ya'll! My name is Cricket, I live in a northern suburb of Chicago, have a soon to be 14 year old daughter Mandi, an 8 year old fur-baby Ozzi and my hubby of 17 years Roger. I love to do crafty things, in fact I'm going to try my hand at making some aprons! Have a great day!

Thanks Talitha! I notice you are in Japan, how awesome! I have only had the opportunity to spend a few hours in Tokyo and it was all in the Narita airport (waiting on flights to Singapore) but I hope to be able to really visit one day!

I just started knitting last fall, have done a couple scarves and a felted bag (working on my second now), and have started mittens but I'm having a bit of trouble getting used to knitting on three needles at once!! I hope to master that though...

Cricket, I'm so far out in the corn.... Ever hear of the Sandwich Fair? I'm about twenty miles further west.
My daughter's a super serious gung-ho knitter. She just made her first cardigan yesterday. Cute little thing with cables up the sides and a little hood. She also loves to do socks. I have a couple of pairs and they're some of the best things I've ever worn. What kind of knitting do you do? |
