Posted - Oct 06 2007 : 12:38:06 PM Welcome to the forum Shawna! I have just one kiddo right now, but I already have learned that I have to always keep one hand on her during meal times or she tries to steal food off my plate! (she is only 6 months)

Posted - Oct 05 2007 : 12:57:11 PM It's good to be meeting all of you(so to speak) I'm so ready to learn, learn, learn. I'm just feeling so free to be in a place were everyone else has the same type of outlits. I feel like a lost soul in this generation of young people, and since the other gals I visit with don't desire to know and do the same things that I yern to know- well it's like a turtle hiding in its shell!! So a big thanks to MJ for stepping up and opening her heart to us all! And I love all the connections to hamemade items. I have a special something that I make and I can't waite to learn how to make it available to all you gals.
p.s. yes the toast is hard. after child 2 I learned how to crack eggs with one hand but cutting a steak and doing the toast are just two handed projects! ppss- do we have any more MO gals out there? I would love to learn of any gals in my area!
I don't need a certain number of freinds, just a number of friends I can be certain of.

Posted - Oct 05 2007 : 07:28:23 AM Welcome Shawna,
Glad to meet you, the ladies here are so much fun, and very helpful. Don't be shy.
I had 3 children in 4 years, so I know where you're coming from...typing with one hand is challenging, but I found buttering toast with one hand the hardest!
Enjoy them, they grow up sooooo fast. Mine are 15, 17 and 19 now.
