I'm new and have been reading and just started joining in today. I absolutely love what I've found so far and can't wait to dig some more! I'm a city girl now, but was born and raised in the country so thats where my heart is. I love to do anything crafty as well as sew, cook, find nifty uses for what most people call junk or trash, and I love gardening and garage sales! I'm also known as a total tightwad, (I like to think of myself as frugal) but to each his own. I have three kids, two dogs, two birds, 5 hamsters, and one big teddy bear of a husband. I can't wait to get to know some of you better!

Welcome, Robin, from Chandler, OK. I too love just about anything "crafty" and cooking too; I don't have many people to cook for now, as I'm alone, but every now and then I get to go all out... You're going to love it here, so dive in and have fun!

i think you will love it here. i for one am also a crafty girl who loves to reuse things in surprising ways!.....and for texas we are practically neighbors!
i am in bonham, texas which is about 70 miles north of dallas. i am in between paris and sherman.

Hello, Thanks to Brain , on the farm ,I became a Member of the Farmgirl Sisterhood .I'm so excited , I can't wait to find out my # and earn merit badges . I think I'm gonna decorate the spare room like an a old horse drawn wooden caravan wagon. Will I find the time? ! what kind of birds do you have? i have a congo african grey, a timneh african grey, a blue front amazon, an english budgie, 3 adult cocatiels and a handicapped juvenile cockatiel. all this in a 24X24 dry cabin with 3 people and a cello! frugal is a nice word isnt it? sounds so much better than tighwad. their are some who say i am so scot i bleed plaid lol. peace connie |
