Posted - May 26 2010 : 11:20:39 AM Kate, a warm Missouri welcome, I love it here and wouldn't want to live anywhere else on this earth! I am a Missouri "Farmgirl" born and raised! (Well, to be honest I lived in the city (St Louis) most of my life, and felt misplaced!!) My husband and I moved out to Dittmer 3 years ago! Sorry to hear you had to "lose" the chickens, I have had mine now for a year and I cant imagine being without them!

One is a small animal rescuer but is sort of cutting back right now as she tries to get her real profession (digital graphics and web design) off the ground.
