Someone said they wanted to know a bit more about me. So...here's a start. I am 53 and living on a small farm of 10 acres. I live in an old 2 story house that has been renovated and recently insolated and new energy efficient windows replacing the old bubbles glass with ugly storm windows . I love gardening, doing Zentangles and other arts. I sew, crochet,do photography, love baking and cooking. I live with my 5 dogs and 7 barnkittys and 1 indoor kitty. I am disabled but try not to let it keep me down. Somethings are more challenging now.. but I always find a way to get it done. I have 2 grown children and 2 beautiful grandbabies. One of with is diasabled but MEMEs sweetie.
Well.. will stop there. Don't want to scare anyone away ! Hugs to you .. my sisters... Kristy the Eggfarmgirl

Posted - Nov 18 2010 : 04:52:01 AM Hi Kristi, Welcome from Minnesota. You've found a wonderful, informative, supportive place wih MJF. Having lost your DH is a tremendous life changer. Your positive attitude of working on dreams and doing what you love to do will help you through the changes in your life. There's a thread here in the Across the Fence section called Stories of us Widowwomen, I believe, that could be a powerful support group when you need the boost. But for now let us know a bit more about yourself so we can find what you have in common with your new sisters. Susan

And the fun of joining in is beyond belief, so browse through the topics and you'll find something that will peak your interest. Welcome aboard! Connie
