Posted - Dec 19 2011 : 3:26:30 PM HI! I was complaining I had no one to talk shop with (ya know, canning, cooking, gardening, farm building), so my girlfriend directed me here.
I am married with three kids, and about to finally move out of an apt into a townhome. The yard is little, but I am packing as much garden space as I can in there. Its a temporary stop for a year or four till we buy our house in small town Nebraska, where we are going to be raising hens, hogs, and honey!
I am glad I found you guys, and I can't wait to jump in!

Posted - Jan 13 2012 : 4:03:45 PM Hello Ursula! I'm originally from Nebraska. Go Big Red! Still have much family back there. I'm off-grid in the mountains of Oregon. It took many years to get here so you hang in there, it'll happen. Hens, hogs and honey sounds perfect! I garden, sew, can, hike, ride, and willow weave. Welcome to your new adventure! Susan
