I've been reading about Etsy teams the past couple of days. It is a way for people that live in the same state, make the same things, or have similar interests to promote each other's businesses. I've emailed Etsy about the particulars of starting a team. We would run special promotions during peak selling times of the year, promote the team on our blogs, support each other in our businesses, etc. I know that an area on this forum is being developed for us to promote our businesses and this would not take anything away from that. It would be a way to promote our businesses in addition to what we'll have here. It would be kept strictly to Farmgirls with Etsy shops.

Once you post it will bookmark it and raise it back to top of that section . You can find it again by clicking on "forums" and to the right of page at the top it shows you threads you have posted on link --click on that and then find the thread..... This dont work if everyone doesnt go over and say something to keep it current . If anyone else wants to post on this thread --please do . It helps us out :)

If anyone gets the chance you might go over to the farm girl flair blog and leave comments in bunch of the posts . The more comments --the better chance it has to be picked up in the blog search engine

Another place to build website in craft world to advertise / Here is one i started. have to go back and build it all yet. Seems alot of etsy advertising is all these blogs and websites to promote yourself . great !! Will go sign up now ! Every0ne --also be sure to read the forums on etsy too and post a blurb whenever you can. It gets one shop out there alos by doing it. Not that i have had sales --sigh :) But every little bit helps
