DH had given me a Christopher and Banks gift card for $50 for Christmas and I still had it - I hate going to the mall! It dawned on me this morning that maybe I could use that card online. I have shopped at C&B a lot in the past (great clearance sales), so I knew the sizing. I got on the site and they were having a half off clearance sale and $1.00 shipping. I ordered-
1 pr of denim jeans
1 pr of black jeans
1 pr. black dress pants
2 sweaters.
It came to $49.98 - I thought "Wow, I am good!", but then when I went to the final checkout, they had added WA state sales tax, so I went $4 over, but still, a pretty good score for 50 bucks I'd say!

I thought I posted this already, but it's not here, so I'll try again. I received my package this morning, less than 24 hours after I ordered it - and everything was correct, complete, and exceeded my expectations. I think I'd like to have stock in that company!!

Sherri, At the Christopher and Banks near me they always mark things down on Thursday morning. I have gotten cloths for as low as 98 cents. Although I don't care for going to the mall and don't need much in the way of cloths I usually try and go at the end of the seasons to see if I can replace anything worn out with a new cheap one.

Thanks Sherri...I'll have to do that. I must again admit, when I go down to Union Gap I hit Costco and sometimes the fabric store and I'm outta there. But now I'm gonna try this C&B..just for their clearance stuff!

It is, Jami. I wouldn't know what it was either, but I discovered them in one of my rare trips to the mall and they have great clothes for people like me - not career, but mature enough so I don't look silly, and in good fitting sizes. Plus, when they clearance something, they go all out. I have purchased sleeveless tops to wear under shirts there for as little as $1.
