What do you not leave the house without?
For me, earrings, cowboy boots, and mascara.

I rarely wear makeup but always wear lipgloss. Fashion wise I am more comfortable in a worn in pair of jeans and cowboy boots.

Mascara and eyeliner for sure...I have blonde lashes too, so its scary if I don't wear it! I used to put on a full face of makeup before I went ANYWHERE. Then I went through a phase where I didn't, would even go out in sweatpants if I wanted. These days I'm trying to do a little better--always put on my makeup and wear decent clothes because you never know who you'll run into while you're out. LOL!

Makeup, sometimes less is more, cell phone (kids always calling), Hair as to be tamed (really curly) and I always call my Grandmother to see if she needs anything before I drive all the way to town!

Simply Thankful,

Sunglasses, mascara and cell phone . . . even if I'm just going on my power walk.

When I go out I like to have on a little eye liner and mascara and lipstick. Lipstick is my must item along with earrings. I do get a shower everyday, because if I dont the fibro hurts more. My other flair item is colorful socks with my Birkenstocks.

I, too, usually have makeup on but not always. I typically wear my old worn out sometimes hole-y jeans and boots unless I am going to work. Right now, since my son is young, I check to make sure I have plenty of diapers and a full sippy cup.

Okay, stopped wearing makeup 3 children ago (I have 5). Don't always get a chance to shower in the morning (same reason). Clean undies...always...and my keys. Other than that, depending on the destination pretty much anything goes. I once went on an emergency run to the feed store for chick starter with 3 newborn turkey chicks wrapped in a face cloth stuffed down the front of my shirt. It was the only place I could think of to keep them safe and warm until I set up the chick nursery. Everything was fine and no one noticed until they woke up and started peeping. I just looked around and pretended I didn't know where the sound was coming from.

I wore an apron to the store awhile ago and I got a few looks, but it had great pockets for my keys and wallet - I hate carrying a purse.

... LOL! I don't wear make up no use hair spray stuff but I never leave without my keys! I learned my lesson once! I am not into climbing my chain link fence, 5 ft high, in my bohemian style skirt. I'm not the spring chick like I used to be when I was in the U.S. Coast Guard... back then, I was fearless! (ROAR!) heeheehee

I am another gal that carries a hanky :)

I never leave without deodorant (Ha Ha) and lipstick. Unfortunately I get to put on my corporate clothes every day. I LOVE nothing more than a day at home in my slouch clothes, but I don't get them very often.

Leaving the farm, I always wash my face and hands, put on slacks, nice blouse, and shoes, comb my hair, grab my purse and go. Clean undies every morning 'cuz ya never know.

Must agree with the Grace & Grace - always clean undies and clean hair. Then chapstick, and if I'm really dressing up, a hankie. Because they are so pretty and feminine. Funny when you talk about make up. I have finally reached a point where I feel beautiful without it and am very comfortable not wearing any. I too have invisible eyelashes and know that mascara will enhance my eyes so I do wear it most of the time to work.

Dutchy is a farmgirl after my own heart! I adore pink! Anything pink. My iPod is pink too, phone, pocket knife, key chain, hats, gloves, tops, swimsuit, undies, pajamas, walls in my sewing room...gotta love that pink! I'm glad hubby doesn't mind so much. Even my male standard poodle, Thor, has a pink nylon collar with pink poodle designs on it. Hubby thinks I'm terrible subjecting my dog to a pink collar, but it's for me.

I am with the other Grace - this Grace was taught not to leave without clean undies, a clean hankie. I also add I have to have my watch because I never wish to be late. A pair of earrings - my new one's are tiny silver stream line trailers. I also put on my Burt's Bee lipstick. My hair has to be just so although I am really wanting a haircut but do not trust anyone after the mess I got last time. Now that the weeds are blowing I might leave off the mascarea.

I also never leave without my purse and keys.

Well, now, it depends. If I don't have time for a shower, then I don't leave home without my Yankees cap on. If I was lucky enough to get a shower first, then I MUST blowdry my twisty, twirly, unruly bangs, and I put on eyeliner. My trusty purse always carries sunglasses and chapstick.

Owww. My horse recently slammed my knee into the gate post. I feel your pain. Hope it gets better soon. I always do something with my hair. Stopped wearing make-up about the time I met my first horse. They don't care if you are wearing make-up. I usually try to make sure my flip-flops match. I never leave home without my purse, my soda, a hat and my John Deere Hoodie. It is hot in Texas but the stores and restaurants are like the Arctic.

It's funny what we get used to wearing at home and will leave on to go to town! I haven't worn an apron to town yet, but I'm sure that day is coming. Especially since I have a new pattern I'm anxious to make.

My horse recently bolted and slammed me knee first into a tree, causing me all sorts of problems. For a few days my foot was even too swollen for shoes so I went around with my fuzzy pink horse house slippers on and short yoga pants because long pants hurt my knee. Hubby was trying to convince me to ride in one of the motorized shopping carts at Wal-Mart or the Grocery store. Uhm....NO! I did get lots of laughs from people about my horse slippers and sympathy for my extra dark purple, cut and swollen leg. Most people thought I had been in a car wreck. Hmmm, something like that, without air bags.

Hmmmm....always have my lipstick, and my pocketknife, and yes, I have been guilty of going into town with my apron on. I think my brother thought I was a goof, but *giggle* I didn't care.

You gals are great! Giggle, I gave up make up quite some time ago. . . going with the natural look and only use the make up for an evening out with my guy. I always brush my hair and put it up nicely, put on clean clothes and put on my "town shoes". LOL!! Now. . . on occasion, I have left wearing my apron Makes me feel a little dressed up
