Does anyone know where I could get a hat like Mary Jane is wearing on the current issue of the magazine. I have seen it in other photos of Mary Jane and a couple of other people. It is a straw hat with a brim that turns up on the out-side edge. I love that hat.

Sister is doing well as well as mom! Sister is thinking of moving to Tennesee... Hope it works out for her! I was going to start something with the chapters, you know, but never got it going..I became overwhelmed because some of it became difficult to work out. :/ I always have grandiose ideas in my head... LOL. I may still do something and when I can stop and do it, I will talk to you about it!

Beth! I am so glad you got your hat! I am sorry I never did find any again. I did keep a look out. Now I always think of you when looking at hats. LOL!

Brooke wanted to let you know that I got a hat from Dawn. I am so excited to get it. If it comes this week though I will have to wait until next week as I am at a Horse Show in Tyler. Thanks for keeping an eye out for me.

One afternoon I had to run to pick something up at the drug store and as I waited to get the item the woman waiting on me said 'You look familiar, do I know you?' and I said 'Yeah...I am Beth'. It was then I realized I didnt have my hat on which is straw with pretty flowers and a pink ribbon bow and band. No one seems to recongnize me without either my Mountain lady straw hat or in winter, my wild mountain woman hat which is simply a Aussie outback hat that I have painted a Sierra mountain scene on. Feel naked without my hat. ~Beth~

I have a hat like that for sale in my store. I will try to post a pic here soon. I think I remember MJ saying that she picks them up at Macy's in the Spring.

After reading your message a few days ago it reminded me I'd seen this topic somewhere else and finally had time to find the thread. Funny thing, a favorite thrift store near my house has put out a whole bunch of things they must think are 'costume-y' and I found a hat that is very similar to the Breton style today for $2.99. wahoo!
