I need some resources for men's chaps. My DH has asked for some as a Christmas present for when he works cattle. I've looked at the places that I would go get chaps (State line tack, etc.) but they don't seem to have men's. Any help would be appreciated!

Starbucks and sushi to green fried tomatoes and corn pudding-I wouldn't change it for the world.

i grew up in this little town and there is a used tack consignment shop. I remember them having all kinds of chaps and there are plenty of cowboys that live there, so I'm certain they would. plus some used ones would be a lot cheaper!

here's the web address - http://www.thriftyhorse.com/ they might have his size and be able to ship them to you, who knows! Plus you are supporting my "local business", even if it isn't local for you :)

Try Schniders on line Or Drysdales. They usually have them. Also State Line Tack on-line.

There used to be a catalog called Sheplers that sold men's chaps. Don't know if they're still around, it was a long time ago when I was horse-crazy.

Megan, start looking in Lexington. That's going to be your best bet--Bob Micklers has a great selection of riding gear. Just search "riding apparel, Lexington, Kentucky" or "Equine Apparel, Lexington, Kentucky" and start calling. If that particular business doesn't have any, ask them "where" then.

Lexington is your best bet, for SURE.
