Posted - Nov 18 2009 : 9:12:39 PM While I was at the thrift store today, the elderly volunteers were unpacking donations and pricing them.
They pulled out an Eddie Bauer down vest and I heard them talking about the price. The first lady was going to mark it $5, but the other lady convinced her it was worth $8.
After they finished the discussion, I took a look at it, and it looks like it's never been worn. I thought it was well worth $8, since it was probably at least $70 new, and it seemed to be in like new condition.
I love deals.
