Hey everyone,
I will be posting this pattern to my website when I go to cut it out of actual fabric within the next week. It is a romper with blumers and an adorable sleeve. It will be a button down outfit. Then there is an over dress. It is actually a simplicity outfit from 1939 that I found a picture of. I might have this up and moving by tonight around midnight. Check my site at www.alterationsbyemily.com
Here is the picture of what I am attempting to make

Here is the draped pattern

Nancy, I thought about doing one in white, but I am very messy in the garden and around the house. I was actually thinking a natural muslin thats ivory with all the little specks in it. Next time its down to 2 buck a yard I will pick some up. I am currently in a battle to get my dress completed, I need to find like 6 yards to make it, plus buttons, the light blue buttons on the romper were my only option...

tee-hee I love it, I can't wait for summer now!

I got most of the romper done last night. I then hit a sewing wall and couldn't do another stitch. all I have to do is the button holes and a bit of elastic. Its so cute! I will post the pics when all done.

Big issue with the over dress.... I don't have any fabric for it, I will have to go to the wallie world and find something, but it might not happen until this weekend. In the meantime, I will get the rompers online for you girls, it was fun because they only took about 2 1/4 yards to make.
