Posted - May 13 2010 : 12:06:04 PM I only wear makeup when I go out or to church but I use Bare Escentuals. (except for eye shadow, then I use Avon) It is a little expensive, but it last a long time, works really well, stays on, and so its well worth the price. And you can get it at JC Penneys or online.

Posted - May 13 2010 : 07:51:04 AM After a couple of months of trying other foundations, I just went back to using Bare Minerals this week. It's the only one that truly doesn't irritate my skin. Now I just need to find a good moisturizer for my dry sensitive skin...something that absorbs quickly. Any one have suggestions?

Posted - May 12 2010 : 3:58:31 PM I use revlon Photo Ready powder. I really put it on my acne, working on finding a conceler. I am very luck that my hand is a different color than my face which is naturally a different color from my neck and a seperate color from my ears. I have to find something that just works is very hard.
If I am in costume at a convention I will wear covergirl in the little silver lid, applied with a brush, it helps in pictures. but its like wearing cake frosting

Posted - May 12 2010 : 10:39:26 AM I used to use BareEscentuals mineral foundation but no longer. If I need to cover up a pimple or something I will use a brush with a little of the foundation. Mostly I swipe Physician's Formula bronzer on and that's all I need. Good luck!
Blessings!

Posted - Apr 22 2010 : 6:57:33 PM I get a lot of my makeup info from Paula Begoun(she is the 'Cosmetics Cop'...you can Google her) I do not use her foundation, but she highly recommended L'Oreal's True Match foundation for several reasons. I have used this for quite a while and I really do like it. I do have to mist my foundation sponge with a little water as it can streak if your skin is too dry, but other than that, the color and coverage is excellent. I have very fair, sensitive skin and it alternates between super oily to dry in spots. :0)

Posted - Apr 18 2010 : 7:18:09 PM Deborah, I use tinted moisturizer too. I tried the mineral powders but my skin is so dry that it showed every rough, chaffed spot. I even moisturize first, always do...it didn't help. Those spots still looked peely. :-( I've had dry, sensitive skin since puberty. And gals with oily skin thought they had problems.....we all suffer in our own way I guess!

Posted - Apr 09 2010 : 07:13:35 AM I LOVE LOVE LOVE The Body Shop's mineral makeup... I have horrible skin and it makes me look all pretty and clear but like I don't have makeup on. But at the same time, I can do my whole makeup thing and it still works.
And it has a natural spf of 25
Isn't it funny how many of us use the mineral?
Yes I play the spoons, but I do it with perfectly manicured nails... |

Posted - Apr 08 2010 : 6:33:24 PM Foundation is something I am particular about. I also have fair and sensitive skin. I spring for Chanel Pro Lumiere, it's expensive, but I LOVE it!! It also lasts me quite a while. Jennifer
