Posted - Feb 20 2010 : 12:49:44 PM I'm a knitter too, among other things including spinning, weaving, crocheting, embroideries, basketry, etc. Wish I could find someone to help me around here so I could do more! I'm currently working on a Civil War Shawl, made from my handspun fingering weight 2 ply blue coopworth, the wool came from my sheep! It's so addictive a habit, I had to raise my own fiber! lol, check out my new website to see some of what I've made, and have a good time! Lorna Jean http://northwindfarm.webs.com

Posted - Feb 17 2010 : 06:15:50 AM Hi Girls! Very excited by a new knitting book I just got that has some great, contemporary-but-not-so-hard-I-can't-watch-t.v. patterns in it that I can't wait to start - now if the snow in my state will stop I can go get some new yarn!!!

Posted - Feb 09 2010 : 09:24:02 AM I knit whenever I have a moment between working full time and my almost one year old (so it's not a lot :)) but I love it. Working on several things right now and reading Yarn Harlot's most recent satire (and identifying with every bit of it :)).
Welcome!

Posted - Feb 09 2010 : 09:11:24 AM Hello Stacey, Yep, I am a knitter. Whenever I am sitting for any length of time, there are needles in my hands. Working on a spring top for myself right now. I never get tired of seeing a useful item emerge from that one string of fiber. An amazing process!! I love to knit socks and scarves too. N@n in ARk
