I usually have tomato sauce cubes in the freezer for times I don't need a whole can. Today I did not. So I used half the can in soup I am making from yesterday's roasted veg.

The rest of the tomato sauce I put in an ice tray then opened another can to fill the tray. Each cube equals a little over 1 tsp. When it is frozen I will put into freezer zip lock bag to have ready when I need less than a can.

Hugs, Sara

Sara, thanks for sharing that idea - I'm going to use it.
