This recipe is delicious and then some. If I can snag a picture from the recipe page, I'll add it and you'll all be running to the store to buy the ingredients : )
Chia and Oatmeal Breakfast Bowl with Cherries Ingredients
1/2-3/4 cup raw oats 1 cup Greek yogurt 1 Tbsp chia seed 3 dates, pitted 1 Tbsp almond butter 1 cup water 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 1 cup frozen unsweetened cherries, thawed few drops stevia, optional Instructions
Blend the almond butter, water, dates and vanilla extract in a blender. Then add oats and chia seed and blend again until well combined. Place the Greek yogurt in a small bowl and stir in some of the cherry juice from the thawed cherries. You can sweeten this up with some stevia or honey at this point, if you'd like. Layer the yogurt and the oatmeal mixture in a bowl and top with cherries. |
