Grace - it is a mini quilt. I'll have to measure it and get back to you, but it's roughly the size of a kitchen towel.

Karen, I agree with you! There are days when one boy will have a game from 5-6 and the other will have practice at a different park from 7-8. It gives me an hour to return home, make dinner, and load everyone back in the car. My husband works 14 hour days, so I run this zoo by myself lol! Monday thru Thursday are exhausting!

I just ordered this quilt kit to make for our granddaughter who is a missionary.

We will be going to see her in September.

Until the kit comes, which could be a couple weeks, I have been working on recycling some skirts I had that were too short or too long. I added eyelet to one of them, a flounce to another, and removed 8-1/2” from another skirt. Now they will be wearable for me. Trying to find a good skirt pattern to make two skirts with bright and colorful fabric I bought on St. George Island in the Caribbean in January.

I also have plenty of UFOs to keep me busy.
I am posting my recent UFOs in the UFO thread.

Good job Linda. I have a few I need to alter too. I don't understand the current trend for skirts so short that you don't dare to lean over.

I have been working on UFO quilting projects, but in between I also have been deciding how to fix a favorite torn denim skirt. The large rip is on the backside right at the top of the placket, not a very good spot to put a patch. So, I have been fiddling with flowers on the front and back - I thought that was a bit farmgirl style. Here is how it is going - so far; nothing is sewn down yet. Front is similar placements.

The rip/tear is under the flower in the closeup. And the flower in the top pocket has been moved out of the pocket.

Great Idea, Linda! My Granddaughter has a rip in the leg of her favorite jeans. I will show this idea to her! Maybe she could add flowers to the repair!

Thanks, Girls! :) It was so fun to make and super easy. Should have been a bit faster but I had to do some seam ripping…
