I'm going to try to complete my first badge this weekend. It's the Lost Art of Letter Writing. I love writing and being pen pals. I look forward to having a pen pal write back.

I have split my UFO spreadsheet list into three parts and am using a technique I learned in community organizing to decide which are more important to keep and which are not. This whole process will take a while. During this process, I have just deleted a few projects which are no longer relevant. I don't know how many I had before, now I have 158. I have already started working on my stacked up (no lie) mending.

Wow, Marie! I should borrow your process, even getting my UFO's onto a list would be a step in the right direction. I have toyed with the idea of creating a rule where I have to "show my work" and make a messy first draft before going on a big research rabbit hole where nothing gets created and hours are wasted scrolling pinterest marveling at crafts that are probably AI-generated...
I have been presiding over a bunch of young cultivator projects now that school is out for the summer, though. Fallon just applied for the last Muffin Man level and discovered she loves Making It Fruity with dehydrated strawberries and fruit leather.

Chris, I agree!! AI generated! I saw a video clip once where 2 people tried to recreate several “fancy food “ things they’d seen on Pinterest. It was really funny!!!! The photos were compared to the real life results….yeah, no comparison!! You’re inspiring me to have my 8 year old granddaughter work on some badges this summer! I’m going to check them out and show her what she could learn:)
