I have really been getting into sewing again! I have been working on my UFOs and getting things completed. Yippee! It is so eye-opening when I realize that I was sometimes only 15 minutes from completion of a project when I put it away!!! Frustrating, too! I have not been able to use some things because I was only a few minutes from finishing them! ARRRGGGG!! Now when I work on something, I try to finish it immediately!

Thanks, Karen! I can use all the encouragement that I can get. My craft room is in a real state of confusion. Every time I go in there, I try to put something else away or organize one small part of it. It is looking better, and I am becoming more successful as the days move on. This are getting finished or added to the UFO list. Things are getting put into bags so that I know what is where. I got some overdoor hangers to help organize projects in progress. they really seem to be helping because I can see what I need to work on without having to dig through boxes, bins, or piles of stuff.

I quilted the QOV that I have been working on forever! I will be working on the binding this weekend and plan to have it completed early next week. Yippee! One more UFO completed!

I am working on finishing a bag that I can't remember when I started it other than that I was at my Sister's in Oregon. It had to have been before our Mother died in 2021. Anyway, I am working on it now and plan to have it finished soon. My Granddaughter, Brooklyn, loves it because it is made from material with bees on it! Bee is her nickname! She doesn't realize that I was making it for her from the beginning, but she does now! She can't wait for it to be finished either! Yippee!

Nancy, good luck with finishing your bee bag. I bet your granddaughter will love it. I look forward to seeing it completed.

Hi, Girls! How is everyone doing with their UFOs? So far I have completed almost half of the original list! I am very proud of the work that I have done. I have been working on a quilting project, and then I work on a UFO. It seems that this idea has been working for me. I am not getting burned out on quilting or UFOs by trading off! Yippee! I still have quite a few this to get finished. . .do we ever really get done? Bubt, in the process, I am having fun and I have such a feeling of accomplishment when I have old and new completed! Happy crafting!

Here are pix of several UFOs I completed this week:

4 table runners/squares

Fold and Stitch Wreath

Unfortunately, I finish 5 and find several more. The list just keeps getting longer.

I love the baby afghan, Debbie. What is the name of the pattern you are using?

Marie - I just keep finding more UFOs when I look for some that need completion. I have several projects that I will probably donate because I won't finish them. I take many patterns and fabric pieces to my guild meetings, where we have a table of giveaway items free for the taking.

Several of the UFO projects were inherited when my cousin passed away around 10 years ago. The white and green table runner and the wreath were 2 of hers. She started them and I finally finished them. I will probably send them to her daughter in California.

Giving away UFOs is a good way to start a new crafter on their UFO stash. LOL

I am currently focusing on mending. So far, I have had to mend two of DH's pajama pants - one of them twice. I am also updating my UFO list for the UFO Badge. I am on the Intermediate step of culling the list.
