While dealing with my grief I turned to a couple of crafts I love. One, knitting Two, quilting. I finished my Wild West Shawl and now have it on the blocking pads.

I'm still working on the quilt (also a buffalo theme).

I am also learning a new craft, a very old craft (nalbinding) going to start my first hat later today.

There is never a road so long that there isn't a curve in it.

Beautiful shawl. I've heard of nalbinding but not really familiar with it. Isn't it like doing macrame with a needle?

I already had the blocks made; they were my leaders and enders of last year. It was fun putting it together, kind of like a puzzle, especially since had t do it a quarter at a time.

Everleigh and I were gifted matching needlepoint kits from my dad. They are some Thanksgiving decorations and we started them this week. I haven't done needlepoint before so I had to learn before we started. So far so good! Im excited for them to be finished!

The brightly colored dog fabric inspired me to make 2 Boho Girl (dog) quilt tops. They remind me of when Churunga and I were young, mom used to dress us in similar clothing, one in blue and one on green. I'll get them quilted when I can, and probably donate one to our animal shelter for fundraising.
