Thursday night my sweet little Everleigh was working on her dance solo and the tumbling she needs for her dance. During one of her tricks, she landed incorrectly and really hurt her arm. Since her pain was so bad we took her to the doctor. Everleigh has a radial head fracture near the growth plate. Basically she broke her elbow. The place she broke causes pain throughout the whole arm and wrist. She will be in a splint for a week and then next Thursday when the swelling goes down we take her in to get a long arm cast that she will have for 3 weeks. Everleigh has been completely devastated. She is so upset that she won't be able to dance. The doctor said she can do minor movements in the class, but no turns, leaps, jumps, or anything that could cause her to lose her balance. We are hoping she has a speedy recovery and can get back to working on her solo she has so badly wanted to do. Breaks my heart seeing her so upset.

Praying that Everleigh will heal quickly! My granddaughter dances and I can imagine how hard it is for Everleigh to be on the sidelines for awhile:(.

Awww, poor Everleigh. She's very young so hopefully the body heals quickly. Hugs.
