Carol Sue....I need to give you my crybaby pic. WHaaaaa! Oh and the gardening secret....horse manure. I will send some to you if you like! HAHAHA Can't wait to get my package. I hope it arrives before Thursday....I will be gone for 4 days.
Na....The bags are beautiful! Truly! I like your little seahorses and you did a great job on the artful apron. A bee? right up my alley.
Jess...I think that one is your cutest apron yet! I love the pocket detail. Where DO you find the time.
E...I have fabric envy too!! But I must admit I did a bunch of online shopping last week and now the mailman brings yummy stuf every day. I have really bee obsessed. We are going to need a few big snowstorms this winter to get all of this done! I will post a pic of my latest deliveries.
Ok gotta get moving. Today is a dentist appt. Gotta get a birthday present for a friend and deliver.....want time to sew, too......too much to do and too little time!

Bev, sweet little aprons! Congrats on getting that fabric.
Carol Sue, Congrats and give my best to Teresa. Bet that was a memorable day. BTW, my birthday is the 25th of Feb.

great blog Elizabeth...now we know where that frister and rossman hand crank from a few weeks ago went! She beat me!
Nash...,her aprons remind me of you.
Bev...what is the dragonfly fabric called? I love your kiddo apron!
Thanks for the comps on that apron. I made it for a friend of mine! It only took 25/30 minutes! Seriously...it is the everyday apron. My friend made dinner for us after my baby was born, and I have been holding the dish hostage ever since...16 months! So I returned it to her at a picnic last night disgguised as a covered dish...apron, potholders, strawberry and tomato pin cushions..covered in plastic wrap. it was so cute! |

OK Bonne -- I love your persistence! I clicked on the link and -- what? -- got the same photo that I get here on the forum! But I went to your blog and FINALLY saw the hex fabric!!! Oh, it was worth it -- love that fabric. And when I tell you my maiden name, you'll know why: Kleinheksel -- I believe translated is 'little witch'. Aha!

Thanks all who comment on my blog!! YAY!...I'll go reply to them all... Nashbabe: Dharma Trading Co.(www.dharmatrading.com)(NOT Dharma Initiative...this isnt Lost...hahaha) has all the kits and inks you need to marbleize, in fact they were the first and only company we found, I'm sure there are more, but I guess marbelizing just isnt very popular. oh! they also sell un-dyed fabrics...anything from hemp to silk and bamboo and linen....and clothing you can dye, really all kinds of really cool stuff...

Earlier on this thread someone....was it E or G??? showed a ruffling attachment. I got one at Hancocks this weekend when they had 10% off everything.....has anyone used one yet?

Thanks Jess for posting the link to the JoAnns article. I remember I could use the restroom without any problems, until the policy changed. I was told that it was now for employees only. This was a hot on a sewing forum that I belong to.
I stopped shopping at the store because of it until the employee let me use the restroom if it was urgent. That is horrible what happened to the woman from the article.
