Today's apron: I used a piece of fabric that I'd gotten from my Home Decor sample friend for the pocket~has teapots, tea cups and coffee cups on it.

| Hi Bev: I have used my ruffler many times. Love it! I have not tried to ruffle and attach at the same time though. Nervous about that since I am never sure my ruffle will be exactly the right length. Have not figured out how to measure, ruffle and fit! |

You know that was an interesting article on Joanns. Especially since they didn't apologize to the woman but to everyone who had written them about the incident. It said she wrote to them too but she never received a response.......hmmm.

This apron is fashioned similar to the "Hard-Working Farmgal Apron" that has been extremely popular in Hoosier Country. I believe there is talk that the "HWFA" may be made the Indiana State Apron. So, stealing the designer's basic pattern, I strayed a bit and made a tie neckpiece. I may end up having to pay her royalties, but the style is SOOOOO worth it! Self-lined~ I love this fabric~it's got a celestial design that you can't really see, but trust me, it's so purdy!

Bonnie, that pattern is so similar to others out there, so I can't see why they would say it was the designer's pattern. I also have that celestial fabric. It is so colorful. I also want to say that when I made a cobbler apron out of the celestial fabric, that I didn't think of running the stripes on the same direction as you did. I like it.

I agree with Sharon, Bonne, all these aprons look so much alike....it is hard to tell if any are from patterns....the fabric is "tres bonne".....clever, huh? Mais oui!! Oh I took so many years of French in school...it is fun to use a little once in a while...makes me feel....OOOOooo LALA!!!
