Bonnie, after all the talk about Etsy, I thought that you were serious. My dh pulls the wool over my eyes all the time. Hard to know when he is kidding sometimes.

No pattern, made it up as i went~lol
I've made a lot of hippie-type panel
skirts in the past, and I thought, "hmmm...could
do the same with an apron, I'll bet........"

Speaking of Etsy, I've been entering in "apron" under the search and just browsing the past couple days. Been seeing LOTS of familiar patterns made up into aprons for sale. Wonder if they've been contacted the way Bev was.

Oh girls...i have been so busy with my family...4 pgs to keep up on! Sheesh! Bonne...I caught your joke!...and I love your new halloweeen apron...love the happy jacks and the black kitties. I am thinking of doing that panel skirt thing with my left over halloween ends...i have several. Okay back to quilt squares, minis, and cleaning. I have family pics tomorrow and this is the first time I am not sewing all the clothes, I have been too busy and mil gave the twins dresses she wants to see them in a pic wearing! Oh and my 4 yr old looks terrible..i took him to dentist yesterday and he has some work done and while his lip was asleep he chewed it and now it is swollen huge and looks disgusting...just in time for pics! Yay!

Carol Sue! The apron is so luscious! I love black and red.

Yeah, I love the A-line shape of panel skirts and I just cut out a template (on a smaller scale)for the apron panels and kept making panels until I thought it was wide enough. I see many more of those in my future~I need to start a stockpile to put into soap baskets for the upcoming holidays. Oh, my, that may mean shopping for Xmas fabrics of which I have "0".

Jess, my oldest son went to the dentist to have a tooth removed a few years back. The dentist used the typical stuff for numbing. Later, my son's lip swelled up something fierce (his lip was huge). They thought that he was allergic to rubber gloves, but the orthodontist uses rubber gloves all the time. It turns out that my son is allergic to stuff used to numb, and so is my mil. There is another one that they can use, but I can't remember the name. Next time your son has to have work done, I would suggest to the dentist to use something else. Just a thought.

I wish I could blame the dentist for this one, but it is my fault..I was not serious enough with him when instructing him to not chew on it even though he could not feel what he was doing...it looks like ground beef! but mouths heal very quickly, so I am on it today! thanks for that tip though!

O.K. Jess. I just thought that it might have been the numbing stuff. That must be a horrible sight. Whenever I had looked at my son, that was all I saw. Not only was his lip huge, so was his cheek. Like something they would use in a horror film.
