Woke up at 5 and couldn't sleep so I got up and obviously you all know where I headed. Had to try and stay caught up on this thread!
Maybe I should cut out a couple of aprons.

Mornin' girls
I'm still reading along- we got a little hurricane on us this morning so I'm up early.
I am finishing up an apron I'll try to put a pic up later-if we still have power.
CarolSue- I am SOOO glad you are getting some answers!
Blessings

elizabeth great aprons..love both of em! I keep thinking on the reversible that I can put the pockets on at the same time, but i can never get my pockets exactly the same...I thought that by sewing them through both sides they would be more sturdy at the corners...thried like 14 times...it does not work! Sew pockets on first!

Well... my Brains must be starting to grow back from Henry.... His Placenta ate it. But since I had sewn everything together already, I sewed the Black with white bias on first, with black thread in the bobbin. Those pockets where slightly bigger. Then I sewed the pink ones on with a white bobbin stretching it a little to cover the black thread, knowing that the stitching would fall someplace in the bias tape. I also pinned the hell out of the pockets... as in 8 pins to hold on each one. I rarely ever pin anything. If you look at it close up you can tell. But what a pita.... so next time sew the pockets on first.... then they dont need to line up exactally.

Doesnt look like anyone saw the aqua and coral one on the previous page. It is boring but, I am really grooving on those colors.

The Skulls, Black side... I think look good as is.... Pink side needs some Black bows on the pocket and some heart or skull shaped buttons too.
The Aqua and Coral one I am just going to leave plain.

Teapots... well I cut the pockets wrong! so the teapots are sideways and I dont have enough fabric to re cut them. unless I dig into the piece I got for Jess... and I wont. That one is going to a friend... she needs it.

Hey Autumn,

Looks like you've been dumped on with rain from the hurricane. I wonder if we will get any moisture out of it (northeast Alabama)...looks like it's tracking NNE..Let me know what kind of weather you got from it, OK?

Hey E-, Like all your aprons...

If you look in the "Book Ideas" board, I think that's the title, at the very top of the main page there is a link all about the site that talks about the dress kits. I don't think they're available yet but I'm looking forward to them!

Wow, so hard to keep up to you chicks! Had to go back to the surgeon today, they took a growth off my back but I don't think it is anything much, although darn it, they had to put in some stitches. Oh well. Then the car broke down, but had the common sense to break down in the driveway as I got home from the after school marathon! ;-) So the best laid plans of mice and men, and apron making, has to wait. I got wax 2 melt...

I saw E's skully stuff at JoAnn's today...a quick jaunt coupled with the "I need red pens for Spanish class" trip on the way to school...;-)

I love the idea of apronstock and hope I can come. If it is anywhere close to Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater, I will do 'em both!!!

The ren faire sounds lovely but I am tied up each weekend with markets, and I need the buckage! :-)

Lovely aprons ladies...

Crunchy crafty goodness and psychoses...;-)http://nashbabe.blogspot.com
