Stephanie, I didnt get that moon machine... Oh how much I wanted it, but it got to around $200+ a whole lot of shipping. I just need other things more right now. I am sure another one will come up.

E-, He has another Moon machine listed but not as pristine condition as the other one...it's bid starts at $24.95 I believe with a little over 5 days left on it...The decals and part of the name has worn off on this one but even so it's still a beauty...the shape of it alone makes it worthy of having
I really like this apron you just posted..What pattern is that?

Oh.... I need to go check that out. Oh how I would love the Moon Machine! That is the No frills frilly apron from MJF. It is the one she is wearing on the cover of the aprons mag. It is cute, but a total fabric hog @ 1.5 yrds per apron.

Elizabeth, so glad to hear all is well. Love all your fabric and that adorable patchwork/ no frills apron. I know I have a pattern for children's aprons, just not sure if it is smock style or not. I'll check today and you are welcome to it if it's anything you'd like.
Carol Sue, yea! for getting pictures up! love your sewing space with plenty of books and cd's!
Bev,I would love a copy of that apron pattern. That is so sweet of you! I am sure I could find some tasty fabric to send along your way!
Hey to Stephanie and Naomi Michelle!
Aunt G, I am a nut for toile...that is just one of my all-time favorite aprons!
Jess,, you amaze me with all those aprons! maybe someday I can just whip them off too! You and your sister are too funny...dying to know what the name of the street is!

E I am thinking of re=doing the farmgirl apron down to a smaller size....will let you know how it goes. Cute half apron. I am interetsed in the fabric....if you order, I could split some with you!
Bonne. great job on the reversible! I like your fabric choices....and no bias tape... I have to try that type for a change.
Carol Sue....great picture...now let's see those aprons.

Thanks Amy! I've made a couple before, but I seemed to give them away!

Well..we are a chatty bunch arent we!!!
CArol Sue..nice to see you my dear!!
Bonne...great great great fabric for your reversible..LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!
Stephanie...my comp is running really slow..combo of needing defrag and wireless connection having issues...and I have been sewing my hind end off!! Sorry not to respond, but I havent been on comp much...got new treadle..cleaned it really well..polished the wood...learned how to use it and made 6 reversible hard working full aprons on it since saturday night!
Did not sew last night..husband out of town...must have been exhausted...fell asleep nursing my baby(she is not really a baby anymore...nearly 16 months)...woke up at 4:30 am with glasses still on and jeans and sandals!! So, I just trucked my but up the stairs and crawled in to bed..last nights aprons will be today's aprons!!!
Elizabeth...let me know about your new fabric ho-ing..I will go in on some with you too!!!
Who am I missing....???
*****I do have a smock pattern BONNIE...Beemoosie...let me know..oh and I will then let you know her street name! It is funny because with all the sororities and frats in town, it always ends up on their treasure hunt list!!
okay..gotta dress 4 kids and treadle on!!
why? I do not know I can use my other machine so much faster and with better results..i just love to treadle! |

This is starting to smell like a possible fabric co-op, dare I say it? *L*

The patchwork print fabric on the apron is from Joanns remenant bin, the frabric swatches are from Checker Distributer.... You all are not very good spys... you can right click on the pic to find the source.

Sharon, I like that cobbler's apron on your website.....very cute!
Bonnie....will go cut out your pattern and get in the mail today...my mini aprons are going into the mail also, today.
I need to find some of the Amy's apron panels......very cute....slick and quick!
Then to the sewing room to try to reduce my farmgirl apron pattern to child size.
Hopefully time to sew an apron at some point......check in later, girls.

Bev. Thank you for your compliments. I made some cobbler aprons to match the adult aprons, but haven't put them up on the website yet. You do awesome work on those aprons.
Now, ladies I inquired at Checker Distributors. Your first order must be a minimum of $250.00, at cost. Also, a minimum of $1000.00 at cost must be purchased over a 12-month rolling period to maintain an account
I can easily spend the $250.00, but to have a minimum of $1,000 per year of purchases seems over the hill. I probably have spent that, when all added up, but seeing the number hit me like a rock.
Forgot to mention the other information:
There is a packet that they give you to download, so that you can send in the needed information.

I just wish that I knew what their prices are. I know that with my other fabric sources, that only customers can see the price/yd.
I am wondering if their prices aren't much different than what I already pay.
