Cute skirt Naomi! Love the pattern. I have my eye out on an aline skirt pattern that can be altered to a long aline apron pattern.

Jess, Not that you need more... but did you see the other fabric this woman carries? I will be ordering a few...

Ok I am going to have to wait until after this weekend to order these. First show of the season.

Thanks Jess and Bonne...
BTW Jes...it was a HUGE spider...at first i thought it was the banana spider from the garden that had gone missing...I was thinking "Howd it get in!!!???"...but seriously...for where we are..that 2in spider was gigantic....most of what we have at tiny little things...no bother to me unless i walk into their web....haha

Sharon,
Great aprons! Love the fabrics. I looked up jandsbargains on ebay and it doesn't come up that way. Am I searching the wrong seller?

Girls, these prints are awesome. Where are you ordering these from? I didn't catch it.

Elizabeth! Love your comment on keeping your hands free for hand gestures. Try driving in Southern California. We need a horn that shouts obscene words! Yikes!

Ok gals. I use MJ's farmgirl apron pattern often, but I have modified it to give a flouncier skirt, longer ties, etc. I also use another Sew Easy pattern that is very similar. All the other aprons are just ones that I have created from other patterns....... ie the doggie apron.....and soon a child's apron.

I got my MJF apron pattern with the budget mix.....great item to buy to start out!. You have to take it to a printing place to have it enlarged, though.

E....I love the top fabric...the 50's kitchen....I had that on my list to buy, but the shop I was looking at on line was out of it. I have seen a whole bunch of other stuff though. I am just about approaching the national debt here!!!!

Stopped by Hancock today....cannot wait to show you the one that is almost done.....great fabrics.....better get to work.

I think when it comes to patterns, most gals on this forum may start with
a conventional pattern, but then the creative altering runs rampant. Every apron
"may be modified by personal intuition".
I'm loving the 50's kitchen as well. I can just put names to all those gals!
I can also see Bev and Elizabeth going into an online fabric store business~
Killer tastes!!

I hate you guys! ROFL!!
I'm thinking that if I could afford a
fat quarter of each, then I could tuck them away and
allow them to come out to play occasionally so I
could pet them and hold them close.
Those are just all incredible!

LOL that is the name of the fabric by Michael Miller....

Dont think of it as torture... but expanding your possible creativity. I did just call the distributer and got the scoop. Buying in small volume one bolt, I cant compete with the big guys in price, but then I dont have to worry about someone else getting it all first or My local fabric stores not even getting it... because it didnt make their cut of picks for the season.
This takes fabric Ho to a whole new level!

OMGosh..........I can't stand it!! I work at a fabric store and can't afford all of these gorgeous fabrics!!! (sticking my tongue out here) ARGH..................LOVE those fabrics!!!!! Well, gotta go to the fabric store now and cut someone else's beautiful fabric. One woman came in last night and bought $300 worth of fabric and trims. She makes ceramic platters and covers the platters with such gorgeous fabrics, and then lavishes them with expensive trims!!! We did get a bunch of new stuff in that is in the backroom. Looking forward to what is new!!!

Later!

Yes Jess, I could start Co-oping fabric. It would work great if everyone likes the stuff I pick. You can fit up to 7 yrds of cotton fabric in a flat rate envelope @$4.65. And if the order was big enough, I could go pick it up... I can fit a lot of bolts into the cherokee.

Let me get the Ren season off the ground and crunch the numbers. If it looks like it will work, then I will do it. BTW I do soap supply co-ops a few times a year (But I have a partner who lives in town). If I ran it though Etsy and Paypal, their fees would make it almost not doable... But let me check the numbers.
