I love the scull and days of the dead fabrics. They are really hard to find around here... so when you see them, you have to grab it all get it all. I also lke the Latino religious prints they have been coming out with, I would love to see some Hindi fabric or maybe a little Buddah too.

Ok, this is not my usual, but I got a request for a dog grooming apron....I remade the usual pattern into a cobbler's type apron.....lots of pocket room and reversible. I may also get some gardening type fabric and make a few gardening aprons like this.....ruffles added, though. Hard to see, but the length is shortened considerably....just hangs below the hip area.

OMG Jess that would be great.... Do you need some extra coupons?

and for anyone going to the fabric store, I am looking for a Robert Kaufman cotton fabric called Inner Faith...
I got a little at Joanns, and I am looking for more. I have extra coupons too. I signed up Bill & the boys.

Hey Beverly,

I have that doggy fabric. I made a couple of kid's aprons recently and I am currently making a cobbler apron with the same doggy fabric. I thought that this fabric was so darn cute.

I thought this was a pretty good deal.... you get the pattern, the food mag, some of the Budget mix (like bisquick) and a little tote. The tote is really little but cute. I keep my MJF mags in it.

That pattern seems different than the one that is made up. Was it modified?

It looks like Bev changed the pocket on the doggy apron, but it looks like the same proportions. Comapare it to the skulls. I made it exactally to the pattern body, but I did change to pocket also.

I it is a good pattern, it fits sizes 4-24... so basically one size does fit almost everyone.

Ok...here it is....A-line skirt, following the same pattern for the black striped...only thing, the pattern i am using is only like 20inches of the top of a really loong 80s skirt...I started with 7/8ths of a yard, for the body, and waist of the skirt, then cut off 13 inches off of a dress i had sitting in my closet for a very long time...and used that 13(x40 something) inches(more afer I pulled out the hem, which used up like 3in) for the ruffle...then I had just enough eyelet lace(and only a few inches extra) to layer with the ruffle...I'm very happy with how it turned out....

it needs ironed...but there it is...

Look out, Jess is on a fabric searching tear!

I hate when you do that; it rubs off on me.
First it was the treadles....by the weekend I had
a treadle.........

Cute Naomi~can't beat an A-line for figure flattery.
