I always ck the clearance bolts at HLob. They had clearance trims they were selling
by the whole "thingie"(that are usually measured & sold per yd)~remember Simplicity 99cents.
Now I wish I'd gotten a bandana to do an apron up like Nashbabe's ~ turned out so adorable.

Nash cute cute apron! Does it use a regualr sized bandana? There are so many really cute bandana out there.... here we call them do-rags

Bev
.... I almost got that fabric.... But when I went back to order it... it was gone! Very cute. I have that pattern someplace, but I thought it was too complex for my simple brain to handle.

Chat rooms... I had a chat room that was really private that I ran off my website. Only if you were given the exact link could you get there. It was to keep out weirdo other soapmakers. Since a few of us soap gals wanted to chat, but we didnt want to be bothered with dumb soap questions...or weirdos, I set up this room. I can look into doing something like that again off my site since it doesnt take a lot of space, and I am already paying for it anyways. It was fun, we got together chatted about everything, there were about 12 of us. We even held secret swaps.

I have 3 coupons and was planning on going to Joanns.... tomorrow, while I went to pick up my displays. Slip that in while Bill is watching the boys... Peanut Hates going to Joanns. But I have Got to check out that skull sale. I want that Tattoo fabric too.

Bonne. I love that Umbrella fabric. Looks like I will have to go to Hobby Lobby too.

Ya know, I have a show season starting on Fri... I need to sew Bill a new shirt for it. And here I sit posting, looking for more treadles and fabric online. Poor guy, he may have to go naked!

Buy him one at the Ren Fest~LOL

(Yeah, I know, they're overpriced there.)

You know those hostess aprons they used to have back in the 50's 60's
that were about worthless because they were sheer, but were worn
because they were more for looks? That's kinda what the umbrella fabric is like~
more of a sheer background. Hope you alls find some in your stores!

LOL, I am way too much of a slob to make anything just for looks. . I should make everyone in my family one out of PVC. Then take them out back and hose them off.

LOL I have tired. For basic garb, he is really too tall. But mostly he is too cheap. He would totally freak if I paid more than $50 for a shirt. Plus I have a treasury full of 100% linen fabrics. I went on an online buying bender last year and the year before.... and I buy nothing les than 5 yrs. But I have enough to reproduce almost every working class dress across europe.
I told you I have a fabric problem.

On the contrary, doesn't sound like you have problems with or finding fabric at all!

LOL I am up Jess, call!. and will be for a while. BTW, My house looks like a war zone... I would need to clean... ok I would need to pick all of the fabric in the living room. I moved my Machine to the living room so I can sew and watch the kids. Also the sewing room /library gets too hot.

I may do the cutting thing for a bunch of aprons. I have so many thing I really should be doing.

E doing a chatroom off your site I would feel safe and someone would have to teach me how to do it, or give me the basics.
I haven't even sewn today, I am in withdrawal........ so I go in there and sit and go ahhhhhh.......
Someday I will get my apron done and I want to do the patterns that you lovely girls have sent me. Soon enough it will be cold and sewing will be easier.
Had to turn the air conditioner on for the last 2 days, Come on Fall.
Can you believe I am saying that!!!!!!!!

Bev & Nashbabe those aprons are darling!!

Great finds, Bonne, I don't think there is a HL anywhere near here...

Last day of vacation here..(weekends don't count when everyone is home!) I've been sewing like crazy finishing up projects, so I'm free and clear when I get some apron patterns!

Toots.. I saw you'd called last night but the phone was in the pocket of my purse until I was plugging it in the charger to actually turn out that ligt to hit the sack!

Yes.. he'd doing ok.. they did burn the nerves again..
But are sneding him fo FIVE more tests.. they was to do.. let me think here..
a Bone Density Test.. a Bone Scan.. another CT can I believe,, but it's not a typical CT..
same with the MRI.. seems as it there were two parts to that or something.. Something is sitting.. the MRI he will be sitting.. not laying down i am thinking.. & there was something else he is inverted.. All info as I listened to the Dr.. also.. at least one of these something was one.. he'll have had a die injected in his spine.. & another.. I'm almost thinking he'd said something about an actual needle proble while an MRI is going on.. but I may have just confused two procedures there.. I will be with him though when he has all these done.. & he's not having them all on the same day..

Sorry Girls.. I know this was WAY more graphic info then you probably wanted to hear..
My oldest Son has a really horrible back & naturaly is being jerked around by our wonderful healthcare system.. in the mean time.. He just gets handed more Pain killers.. basically his back is broken in more then one place is how his Dr. Discribes it..& he's not yet 30 years old.

On the Up side.. He & I went to Lunch later at our Favorite place to sneak off to.. Cracker Barrel.. then I Made it on over to my good Friend Joann's later!!

Whoa Jessica, that treadle is a-screamin'! :)

E, yes, that is a real bandana. I lined it with some of the bandana-like fabric though, they aren't the thickest of material.

Kathie, so sorry your son's in pain, will be praying! :-)
