Nashbabe, I love your apron.

Bev. Another great apron. That is a lot of work. Do you have any tips on sewing the binding on? I always find it a challenge.

I am scared to leave.......I may never catch up!

Sharon....3 words....practice, practice, practice......sew slowly, keep adjusting your layers between the bias tape and don't use pins...they just get in the way! Ok, that was more than 3...

Thanks for the tip. O.k. Bev. fess up. How long did it take to make that darling apron? I will get my machine back either tomorrow or Saturday. Well, it gives me a chance to go through fabrics and cut. I realized that I have a lot of aprons cut out.

What awesome aprons. yu girls are so creative and inspiring!

Bev, have a good time this weekend with all your company.
Don't get to tired to read all the posts when you come back.

cupcake material...too cute! I think I have that pattern. Gives me motivation seeing it all done up.

Nay, the chat room place looks good...but too good to be true. My experience is they always come with spam...but whatever the group decides I will go with!

Hey Na....it takes 3 packs of bias tape for that apron....unless of course you make your own!

Happy sewing all.....signing off for the weekend.....don't go too fast here, or I will never catch up!!

Chatrooms get hectic,I love it here, but whatever you all do is fine with me.

BEV, your latest apron is ADORABLE!~I had that pattern and gave it away to
my sister. Think I'll buy another
as I believe Joann's has McCalls this
weekend for $1.99!! (Sat.-Mon)

NASHBABE!!! Love how you did the 1949!! way cute!

Here's what I got today (HobLob & Joanns)
Bev and E are wearing off on me, so I got 2 fabs with cherries.
A couple other pieces have appliques on them (so I don't have to)
All $2/yd
Plus whimsical buttons on clearance to embellish aprons.
A couple costume patterns(with aprons!) and clearance trims.

Hobby Lobby~the ones on the left. One is purple(pretty in person, looks grey in pic) with umbrellas, and the pink with floral applique along the bottom.

Elizabeth..

Did you say that you needed some more of that Lemon Fabric still?
I have a small amout left yet if you do need it.. (The one that I'd made the Apron for Back Yard Treasures/Anne For.. from My contest..?) Let me know.. if you need it it's yours..

Also.. while at Joann's today..
the Skull Fabric.. Is on sale for 30% off.. I think that design that you & I had used was regularly $6.99 a yard.. Does that sound right?.. well let me know if you still need more.. & they did have SEVERAL others still to choose from too.. BUT not that one that was more colorful that I'd done.. remember it? no.. They DIDN"T have it..
So.. if your store is out.. & you want any let me know, & I'll pick it up..
