Bev,

Oh, Bev tbe purse with the stuffed handles is so "Fairytale, Retro, Funky"!!!! all rolled into one I really like designing with a twist and that's what you did there...Like the green tote too but the other one is "designer" all the way.

Okay, no laughing, ahhhh go ahead and I have a good laugh.
I love the Hello Kitty Fabric. Hello Kitty is what I did for stocking sutffers for dd, and now she does them for her dd. Those were so very darn darn cute.
Great job on the creativity for those purses.

Katie, those fabrics look similar to the boxes
of home decor fabrics I was giving away in the
barter area~Sunshine got'em. I figured they'd be
perfect for totes and bags.

Lisa, now THAT'S an "Artful Apron"!

I wish I could look through all your vintage patterns with you. We could play
guessing games and guess the date of the pattern and laugh about how I used to wear those
patterns from the 60's and 70's to school and I thought I was so cool. LOL

(picked up treadle #3 tonight........it's so purdy....these treadles are keeping me up 'til
midnight lately.....;) )

Everytime someone mentions Joann's I reach for the kleenex box....I soooooo miss having a Joann's down the street!!! It was always a regular FIX that I just had to have.

I am very thrift store and fabric store DEFICIENT up here....geeesh, I really was mentally drained when I moved here..LOL One knows to never move to a place that doesn't have a steady supply of these things.

One day closer to Nashville? WooHoo...calling about an old house we found online to see what it used to be...looks kind of like it may have been a general store at one time...

Jess and Bonne,

I hit a motherlode of old patterns at a thrift store about 4 years ago and when customers would realize what I was looking and come near I would look at them and say, "I've already paid for ALL of these" meaning GOOO Away and don't get near them , they are mine! LOL

What a fun addiction it is I'd love to be in the floor with y'all guessing the dates and how totally "more" cool one of us probably looked..LOL

Bonne, have you posted photos of the newest treadle on your topic yet?

The "Keys" and the "Butterflies" are my favorite but the skulls and roses is great...been thinking of doing an apron out of roses fabric and appliquing the skulls to it.

Bev and Jess,
Sorry so slow getting my act together. Just challenged right now.
Hoping to get your fabric mailed on Saturday. Have to have driver. No driving taking pain pills. I really really don't need a dui and my luck, you know I would get pulled over.
E....love some of those fabrics
Have any of you seen the Alexander Henry red background with cute witches on it. Ben Franklin had it and I ooogggllleeeddd.....ahhhhhhh
I did finish that silly apron I was working on. DD took picture of Katmom and I together, Aunt George btw that was the coolest fabric on her apron, drolling wish I had some of that cat fabric....DD loves cat and parisan and that was the cat's meow, the picture is all fuzzy. Nuts, will have to try again.
Practice practice pratice.
Yep, I knew Miss Steph would be here somewhere tonight,
Nay, yep you are deinfitly a late nighter....hahhhahhhahhha
Have fun gals....

Enjoying life.
