Whew, girls, I spend a couple of hours out in the field cleaning up horse sh...... and you all just gab on and on like a bunch of magpies....how's a girl to keep up??

Jess...you look cute as a button...you keep that man away from you....9 months from now is APRONSTOCK....and you have to be there!!!!

Michael Miller fabrics....quilt shops, yea, but also on line is where I have found some.

The piggy apron is next week's project...oh I can hardly wait to get back to my sewing machine....but farm chores are on tap for the weekend.....Apples need picking. I think I picked 300 Jalapeno peppers tonight, and at least that many bell peppers and Hungarian waxed peppers....Tomatoes are overtaking the place and the apples need to be picked......that means applesauce, pies and dumplings....yikes....I need those fairies in a big way. Maybe I need some migrant workers instead....hmmmm do you think they can sew, too????

Speaking of which, when I was in NYC this past Weds. I went through an actual sewing sweat shop.....never saw one before....all Chinese people....all sewing like nobodies business.....fabric all over the floor....all over the place....just like in the movies......pretty weird. And none of them were using treadles!

Hahahahaha......Bev, I would have loved going to NYC with you. Have you ever watched the show: Project Runway? FAB!! I found the online site to the fabric store in NYC where all of their designer competitors shop!! It is a fabulous place!!

Sounds like it is going to be a busy weekend. What are you going to do with all of those Jalapeno peppers? Phew...that is alot of heat units!!!

The sweatshop sounds like something to see. Why did you go there? Just curious. What an eye opener!

I need the sewing fairies here!! I've got soooooo much sewing to do!!

No I don't get to wear it.....too small for me!! I have got to make things in my size!! I'm taking this one to the shop to sell I think.

I have been dressing real artsy though since working at the fabric shop. I have dressed in nursing scrubs for 24 years and now I'm letting loose and dressing artsy, funky!! I've made funky aprons, were red striped clogs and lots of my jewelry........the ones you made and the ones that Lisa made. I get compliments on them every day and I am so proud to say that my very talented friends made them!!!

I would soooo love to come to the farm and be a migrant worker for you!!

I dunno...it looks OK...least its not toilets...I mean...how tacky is it to put your mailbox post in a toilet? or...ugh..plant flowers in your toilet...haha...kinda looks cool(the sewing machine fence, NOT toilets)...
