Nasbabe, I am surprised that Rachel said that she needed an apron. One time, she demonstrated what her mother uses a towel for. It is one of her favorite things. Her mom tucks the towel in at the waist.

Sheryl-lyn, when my oldest son heard the baby's name, he was surprised. Well, not that surprised, but he thought that it was unusual. The couple likes to pick names that not every one around them has.

Bev. wonderful work there. Now, some of the designs take a long time because of all the stitches.

that is so odd, maybe it is a regional thing, but like every other 10 yr old boy here is named Avery, and every other 0-18 month old girl is named Avery.

Hey Bev,

The Pfaff embroidery machine is awesome! I've got an older Pfaff serger that will be alive long after I'm gone..LOL So when's your next birthday??

..like your sewing project..what kind of quilting machine are you using? I looked at the Brother, can't remember the model, but it has the extra deep throat on it and also has the needlefelting attachment available.

I know a gal named Francesca whose sisters are Veronica and Valentina.
All very "hot" Italian looking with dark hair and eyes. I think it's great
that you kept those names alive, Jess.

Autumn, where's that apron?!

Great names, Jess.

Steph...it is a Pfaff Grand Quilter....sews about 150 miles an hour on the fastest setting. I do free motion on the slower setting, or I would be quilting my fingers and toes fast to the project. I just did a wandering stitch on this little project....not supposed to cross any line that you already made(don't tell anyone, but I crossed several....I just got a little wild) It is hard to see the actual quilting, cause the pics are so small.

Jess, my DH's family (Dad) is Italian...and everyone in his generation had names from opera characters....pretty funny.....Romeo, Aida, ....I cannot remember them all. But they were originally from a little town in northern Italy called Luca and they lived right across from the opera house!

OK!!! Photos are a workin Gals!!

I bought a few Apron's While on our little Jaunt through Missouri & Tenn. & had to show you all..One looks SOOOOooo....Much like Mary Janes Apron i knew you'd all love it! But it's Such an old Vintage Apron..SO pretty..Another is used with a few Hankies..& is Very similar to MY very own 'V's..!! So,it just Shows that as unique & Special as they All realy are.. Our Grannies or Someone from WAY back when.. has done something Oh so close to that same very thing once upon a time!
That Yes.. we are all tied together some how.. Some way through our Apron Strings!!!
There's another one too that I got that was So gorgeous.. A full lenght one.. It makes me think that it was the remnants of an old table cloth.. SUCH pretty work on it..!

Hold me down girls!

There are tornado sirens going off right now and 4 tornados on the ground and two of them are in a path towards where I am living... I'm in Southaven, HornLake, Mississippi and Southwest Memphis, Tennessee area by I-55 in case you hear about it on the news...

I've thought of Julie (willowtreecreek)..I know she's in Arkansas..I know one has touched down there in the past hour.

Let me know if any of you are in this storm area..
