WAAAA! I am sitting here waiting for Photobucket to upload my apron picture! Been waiting 15 minutes!!! Everything else moves along fine so it must be their site. If anybody is still up I'll have a picture up today- like I promised- it's my motivation to finish things!

Well I even tried to post on my blog but it's no use. I guess the weather has us messed up. Tornado warnings all day. It's hot & muggy-got to around 80 degrees.
I was even gonna post a picture of the famous King cakes and the mardi gras pre-parade. Its crazy!
Can't seem to post anywhere but here and only text.
I guess tomorrow I'll try again.

Hey Y'all,
Here's the link to the photos that I captured before running like hell.  It's a slideshow of the tornado developing..this spanned about 5 minutes. It passed within a 1/4 of a mile of us

More is on the way as I'm posting this...still the sounds of sirens all around us..an 18 wheel truck was blown off I-55 into a distribution center and lots of those are gone..an apartment complex is on fire..from that area to the street corner I can look out to is closed off due to destruction....I guess it's a blessing that I can't see it. I've got a hallway closet full of my vintage chenille bedspreads and that's what we will dive into if it comes our way again.
Thanks for the prayers for safety..this is going to go on all night.

Yes, I miss the mountains...they seem to break up alot of bad storms when they slam into them! It is some kind of flat land here...perfect for those suckers to run across.
