Autumn, your apron is adorable just like everything you do!

Thanks everyone for remembering Vagabond Steph as Bev has affectionately nicknamed me ...Did y'all look at the slideshow of the tornado that I posted? What a night..but it all passed us around 1am this morning and I didn't loose the power again but there are streets closed off one block from me that have destruction..way too close for comfort.

I'm glad to hear everyone else is ok..It was comforting to be able to post what was happening to me so I'd know someone would come hunting me if I didn't post

I'm off to run errands but will check in later..I met a few of my neighbors lastnight that have also been told to move from their apartments..got some good information but still am in the dark about most of it.

Ok, good, all present and accounted for!!!

Well, I took the opportunity to sew today...is cloudy, stormy here....in the 60's of all things...but another cold front coming....hence the storms. I made an apron for the great apron swap that I am in...somewhere out there in blogland.....reversible, Spring themed....rick rack and buttons to trim.

What a pretty Apron Bev!!
I love that Pattern..

I actually have one of Bev's Sweet Aprons Girls!
They fit So perfect too! So if your considering getting one..
Stop thinking about it.. & go for it.. You'll love the way hers feel on!

Glad everyone seems to be ok so far.. looks like we dodged the bullet this time..
This was some serious storming huh?
I'm from Illinois originally.. & it seems that we ALWAYS had tornado warnings going on!
Not that a Hurricane is any easier to live with down here..
We at least have some warning with them! & then we get our share of bad storms that throw around some tornados & winds too..
Just makes me think about moving back to that regine!!

I cannot believe the devastation with all of those tornadoes. Since we never have the tv on regular stations I don't see much news. How horrible for all of those people. Glad we are all ok. Crazy weather.

Autumn: Love that apron. I need to get on the ball and do mine.

Bev: Lovely apron, as usual. Your partner is a lucky girl.

I am glad to hear you ladies are safe from the Tornados....I rarely turn the T.V. on so I never know whats happening till I read it here, or DH tells me the Happs..
Bev Your "sunny" apron is adorable.
Ok, ladies who like to sew....take a peek at my blog(todays entry) and then go over to the stitching thread.....I am going to take a leap & host a swap.....it's all Jess' fault! So she will be the 1st one signed up on my swap. LOL!

Bev, love the fabric of that apron..really makes you think of springtime.

Thanks again to all that have checked on those of us in the path of the tornados.

Kathie, you are so right..at least with Hurricane's you have a notice..I spent 25 years off and on between New Orleans and Mobile, Alabama...was 11 years old and in Biloxi, MS for hurricane Camille..have rode out more hurricanes than I can count but after Katrina I said, "enough" and moved further north to the mountains of Alabama.

Now this "longterm" temporary stay in the Memphis area is very unsettling since I knew how bad it gets here and under normal circumstances this is NOT a place I would come to live..LOL

So hopefully we can sock away enough cash in a few years to make a run for the smokey mountains and get that cabin.. That's the reason why we are here...funny how I had to come to the western part of Tennessee to eventually wind up in eastern Tennessee!

Now to figure out where I'm supposed to be living up here with this stupid apartment going into foreclosure..still waiting for some details..here it is the 6th day of the month and still no one to pay rent to or know weather we can still live here or not.

I think I'll go crochet..seems to be the best thing for my mind right now.

Talk to y'all later, Stephanie

Hey girls,

Yes Autumn, pain meds are really kicked in and making life easier. Except when I do like I did today. DD needed some things from her shed, baby things, very important. So I shoveld and the grands helped, but my back is not and I mean NOT a happy camper. A few days rests and pain killers and good as new.....lol

Autumn, what a great apron.
Kathie, those apron finds you found on your travels are so beautiful.
Bev, great bright and cheery apron.

Steph, so very glad you are safe. Hope all our girls are. Saw it on the news tonight, praying for each and everyone of you.

Oh Hey..
Remember eon's back when we were pushing everyone to model
in an Apron? & SOMEONE was Way more bold them most of us?
Well .. we haven't done that it awhile..
Not really Apron's really..
So.. I'll stick my big ole self out there!
To revive the sore subject again!
Mostly so I can show the great Apron that i had gotten
in a great Swap sometime ago..
This was one from Our own Sweet Bev!!
Sorry.. NOT Standing up in this one..
So you aren't seeing how beautiful the Apron really is..
But I'm also spairing ya the Large Marge effect too girls!
This Apron is actually reversible! RED!!! On the other side!!
& Pigs are a flying everywhere!
I'm sitting with my sweet little Pumpkin..
My 6 year old neice Mackenzie.. This little kid is a trip..
( The Garden is a jungle.. so STOP looking!
I will make ya jealous though..
This was taken over Christmas.. Look how Warm & GREEN!! )

There.. Someone else's turn now too!!
Model Apron's you made..or one that someone made for ya Girls!

Ok.. Here is ALMOST a Picture of the Apron in full length..
Hanging up..
See Bevie poo.. i DO actually use this one..
Mostly when someone is coming over.. or for nicer things..
It's just too pretty to wear all the time..

The one i wear ALL the time.. is that Ratty little one almost right in the center there all stained up with the really thin line of blue stripes.. & teeny red stripes a red floral..
It's right next to the one you made me..& on top of the light blue one.
Funny how we get used to wearing the SAME ones all the time.. isn't it?

I have another bunch hanging on an old Bunkbed ladder to the left of this pass through window.. & my Holiday ones in the buffet & more in drawers.. I love to have em all out to look at though.. don't you girls?
