These are vintage...so most all of them have info on the selvage, the weave, the weight, the textures...most of the repro barkclothes are lightweight and a generic weave...all vintage barkclothes are unique to their particular weave...this one is what is referred to as a "nubby" weave...I've got some diamond weave too..

Naomi, right...kind of like tiny slubs or nubs....would almost remind you of the textures you can with some of the modern upholstery fabrics but barkcloth is lighter weight.
