Bonne, better lower your expectations a whole lot, surely no goddess here. Photos I sent Jess are from yesterdays quilt/comforter/wool blanket buys. All except the white/blue/cranberry blanket were $75 total from a lady in Reno. Oh, forgot to photo the free doll she gave me, will do that now. Iceland wool was $5.99 and well worth it.

Wow! stunning quilts. I've got a client that collects quilts~she has a huge house that she displays them all over in. Hanging from railings and walls. I love to pet sit for her just to view the quilts! Like an art museum only she does it in a live-able manner.

oh WOW! on the Icelandic blanket. It's got the colors of the Icelandic flag. Is it from Icelandic wool? I imagine so. That will be a hard-wearing piece.

i have a pink wool blanket that looks similair to the blue one but my bedroom is done in more blues. plus they are good to have around if the power goes out.

thanks Jess. Label on the blankie says Made In Iceland exclusively for Landau the wool family. 100% wool, dry clean only. Has a faint dark spot and know I saw one slight moth nibble, not a hole, but can't find it now. Surely worth $5.99. The lady who prices linens is on vacation and I get some true buys when she's not there.

hey ronna you are the queen of thrifting
oh yeah baby boo boo has been wearing the snow gear you sent us before he was born, and the coats have been used too. someday we will be able to walk outside without shoveling lol.
hmmmm.... gonna go take the kids for a walk they are restless from being stuck inside for two weeks, they actually wanted to go to the store with me yesterday to buy milk and bread. that is when i know they are desperate to get out.

Sheryl-lyn~gorgeous quilt. I love the fall colors.

Linda~Great picture. So nice to see you.

Ronna~Love the hot rod and all your thrift finds. We never find anything like that good around here.

Jess~That package is gorgeous. Everything is so beautiful. How sweet. How awesome that you got to have a day with MaryJane and Meg and the others. That sounds like an incredible time.

Blessings,
Ruth

what sweet gifts for Emilia. Karin in GA is very talented as are most or probably all of you ladies.
I took the photos on the living room carpet and ones I just sent Jess in the chairs. The living room stays fairly neat, it's the guest and sewing room that are bulging and the dining room when Larry's not home, like now.
Teresa, I've not decided what to do with the wool blankets yet. The blue and white one has the reversed design on the back and is quite heavy. I'll keep you in mind if I do decide to let it move away. Really is pretty. Label from J.C.Penney, I'll guess from the 50's.
