I've always found wonderful stuff at the thrift shops, in Reno and when I lived in SoCalif. Have had "words" with dealers who think they should be able to scoop up the good stuff and I do love to ace them out :) Thanks for the compliments Ruth and all of you. Those who get "care" boxes from me know I don't buy crap, but manage to get the like new goodies for pennies. I've clothed lots of kiddies at a dollar or less for each garment, ones that look like new. Love to buy the $$ party dresses for a dollar and good winter coats in summer when they don't sell.

Ronna~That is so great. How awesome that you are able to get those things for so little. So great that you pass along the great deals to others.

Carrie~Can't wait to get to know you better.

I sooooo want to go to Farm fair too!! Don't think I will be able to this time. My daughter and I are traveling to Ireland and Poland this summer for some family research (if the economy isn't too bad for us). If we don't do that though, maybe I would be able to go to the fair!

Ok, I tried to post my photo again but the computer refuses to let me do it. I'm sure there is a good reason for that....

I just got back from a little shopping adventure with my daughter. I was on the lookout for some decent, warm, preferably wool gloves that will keep my hands warm. My right hand has a bit of arthritis, slightly knobby knuckles so I have a hard time wedging it into a glove. A soman's glove anyway. But , lucky for me I did find a pair of leather thinsulate lined gloves, ladies large that went right on my hand, no problem. What a treat. Susannah had a little Christmas money that was burning a hole in her pocket so i took her to a few places, and she got some really pretty clothes, great sales going on at the moment.

On the way home I started experiencing severe pain in my left leg, I have no idea what the problem is. I think maybe it was stress related, I had to pay more for the rental of a car for three weeks than the deductible on my car. I found that very annoying, but I am grateful to have my car back, good as new.

Went to the post office today, and received a package from Jess. What a treat.

Ok I'm going to try to post a picture later, I'll put my daughter on it, the computer usually performs for her.

Bonne: You are funny. I will try to get a picture on here soon. There is one on my blog, and it's perfect since it is very, very small. Makes me look petite and sweet, of which I am neither! ;)

Karin; wasn't that leg bothering you before too? Hope it's better tonight.

Lavendar dreamer: I am totally excited about that trip and hope we can do it. I am working on a film project that I need to do some research for, so it will be a great experience for my daughter as well. Keeping my fingers crossed so that we can do it!
