so cute, good work Ruth. When you have time to do a bunch, can post them for sale on the Marketplace and bet they'll sell like hotcakes.

Wow I moved around tidying up a bit made some cookies then needed a pill zonked out for a couple of hours. You's have been busy as usual. No worries I will be fine sometimes you just need meds to get you over the rough patches. Gotta learn not to do so much muscle work. I just try and not let any pain dictate my life.

Great day today +5 and melting sure glad I moved further south. Wished I could have been out for a walk maybe tomorrow.

Ruth you did a fab job on the hat's kids look so adorable in them.

Having java then making supper.

Carrie, I missed a post too...so sorry for the aches and pains..wintertime doesn't help matters either.

-----

Bev...because we know you DON'T want to be secretary...LOL I know you don't miss those other duties you finally were released from a few months ago! woohoo... Wait til the goats see that owl hat on you...they'll run the other way...total creatures of habit! When we all die someone can stop this topic or the forum doesn't exist anymore, whichever comes first. Oh, and good energy headed that way on the sell!!! Let it Be!!!!

-----
Jess, I see the skull fab is being used! YAY!!! Yes, I'm the skull fab lady...I need to be paying attention for new ones out there.

-----

Ruth, the owlie hats are sooooooooo cute!!!!!!!!! Yes, girlie, you have found a niche....you gotta add them to your blog for special order or list whatever you have made up!! What type of yarn are you using? acrylic, wool...is it worsted weight?

Bev, if Thomas and I can pull of selling real estate before it ever hitting the market so can y'all!!!!! Manifest it, girl!! Make it so!! We gave thought to the longrun scenario of holding the property for much more money down the road and compared what it would cost us in the long haul of holding....so someone showed up with enough money and we said "SOLD"....we are outta here..LOL

Sheryl, Yes, this is a drag with my eyes but I'm pretty sure my insurance isn't going to cover it...they are not bad enough....we have spent money lately like it's growing on trees..don't need this expense right now..so I'll save my foot and eye issues for later..Thomas can drive Miss Daisy on those long distances..LOL

Steph: Sometimes it is nice to be driven around! I had to drive my daughter to work and home a few times last week and she said she enjoyed knowing someone was coming for her at the end of the day! She is 21 and so independent, but enjoyed that very much.

Carol Sue: Saying prayers right this minute. I actually have my CD with Christian music on right now (hubby is out for a few hours, so can play it loud while I sew) and I am saying prayers while I sew. It's all you guys tonight with your aches and pains, condos to sell, eyes that give grief, and pipes that MUST STOP leaking! A few prayers for happy things like gorgeous kids and cute hats too.

Oh, I can hardly wait for spring this year, girls... I bet Carol Sue and the rest of the sisters in Spokane are about ready for Spring, too! Yikes they sure have been slammed. How about you, Bonne...much snow? We mostly have had ice storms. Just about broke my butt this evening....taking out the trash. I may just stay put until things thaw a bit....cannot afford a broken tush!

Bonne...you have made some great skirts in the past, I believe! Do you get the emails from Indygo Junction? There was a cute tunic patern that came on one of those this past week.....for a moment I actually thought about making myself a few....and then I went right back to quilting instead.

what was that about over achievers Miss Bonne? Done? Ok, who else besides Carol Sue, Teresa and I haven't even started? I thought finding the fabric was a good start. I put the Featherweight back in the closet, so it's gotta be the Bernina. If worse comes to worse, can use it at the dining room table. Ha, worse is here, that's what I'm trying to eliminate.

ooooooohhhhhh, just brag why don't you, Bonne! I am ready to start my mini's....LOL You're just being good because you played hookie on the last one..

Carol Sue.....welllllll! Is the water flowing the way it's supposed to?

Jess, I second that...a sun??? disappeared a few weeks ago.

Sheryl, I do take comfort in the fact that I can just ride with Thomas to the mountains and not have to worry with anything like "FEAR" of being in a wreck trying to get through Nashville and Knoxville. It really has played a trip on my mind.

Minis!!?? Not even started yet!! Maybe next week. I just about finished three of the four blocks to catch up with the BOM quilt I am in every month. I usually stay on top of those, but for some reason this one got a little behind. It's very different than the others we have done. I like it.

What the heck is this "sun" thing you are all mentioning? Never heard of it. Sort of reminds me of the story "All Summer in a Day" by Ray Bradbury.

Ladies...walking on ice..Per my other half, who works in it 9 mo of the year. Hold your arms straight down at your side and stiff. It keeps your balance so much better and less likely to fall.
Hate ice, so scary. Maybe wrecking my first car, less than a year old, on black ice might have something to do with it. Been 40 years and it still scares me, so I try to not be out in it if possible.

We don't get ice storms. Hardly any snow yet, but our big snow months are March-April.
I'm tellin' ya, I hate making these miniaprons! They are like making doll clothes and I suck at that, so
I try to get them out of the way and out of my face ASAP. I love to make and love to wear skirts and I've got several kitty prints that I want to put to use~had been thinking "quilt" with them, but I'd rather show them off on my bod.

Wow Bonne done minis already! Good for you
It will probably be next week when I start hopefully I think I have only made one or two before. 32 may take awhile though.

I second spring coming but I think it won't be for awhile.

Ronna how did you package dough for the mail?

Jess: You said you don't like a lot of the tea cozies on the website. Where are you going to get a pattern? I am still undecided as to what to make and will probably just wait to see what my partner wants.

Ronna: Great tip for ice-walking! We have pure ice around here a lot!! Our steps get covered and we cannot do anything about it but cover it with rugs so we can walk in and out. Hubby slipped on it last night and knocked his back out. There had been no ice and then one half hour later it was covered1
