Bonne~I made it to page 20. I have some things bookmarked to look back at them. Now I will have to find time to search Craigslist for treadles.

Ok it's 5:30 and the natives are getting restless. Time to cook some dinner. After dinner it's time to work on owl hats.

Talk to you tomorrow. But I really want to stay and play here :(!!

All the talk about pizza dough this am, I had to put a batch of bread to mixing in the bread machine.
I have as many bread machines as treadles. Got'em all at Savers (thrift store) for under $5/ea
Got another hour to go at least~

Thanks for the info on Verizon wireless , Steph. That's how I'm going once I get a laptop someday.

Measure in all your ingredients starting with the warm water ending with the yeast. Set it for what you want~dough/sweet bread/regular bread. Press start and wait about an hour and a half for dough (pizza or to make cinnamon rolls etc.)or 3-4 hours (depending on size of loaf/bread machine) for it to cycle through and bake a loaf of bread. 5 minutes to load it up and press start. I've had a few flops, but most white breads do well for me. The whole wheats don't raise well, but could be the finicky altitude. I've got 4 different brands, but all work about the same. It's easy easy easy and best when fresh~that's will be no problem for you. I think you'll like it. mmmmmm...fresh cinnamon rolls....

Jess- Yup, kneads, mixes, rises, bakes....I like doing all of it though...mixing...kneading...putting it in the pans...and I really really don't like square loaves..ugh...don't get hardly any slices from it....

Teresa: At work we were just talking about all those sleepless and weird sleeping hours we used to spend as moms of young children. I would lay in bed and say "Oh please, Lord God, just ONE night of sleep that is longer than 1 hour!!" Now I can't sleep for the dumbest reasons. Pass me that frying pan for a good whack to the head!

If I had 8 children, I'd have all 4 of my bread machines churning.

Jess: I had auditions today and cast you as a flying monkey. See what happens when you know the director? Who is up for the wicked witch? Glinda? We could do the whole play together!!

I love my bread machine. Use it ALL the time.

Bonne: Love the hat you sent Evelyn. It is so nice.

Ruth: Can't wait to see my owl hats!!

Autumn: Your birthday present is that you are the Tin Man!!

Monica: Our slippers are silver!!? Isn't that weird? The entire play is exactly like the movie except for that! You are my Dorothy though!

Jess...you would love a bread machine....it's a necessity.

That Singer Sphinx for $950....are they on drugs? I thought I got a good deal at about $100. j

So, who do I get to play in the play....ToTo?? Ooooooh, I always wanted to play Glinda! But according to my kids I do a first rate Munchkin routine....."We represent the lollpop guild, the lollipop guild, the lollipop guild. And in the name of the lollipop guild, we'd like to welcome you to Munchkin Land! (I even do the little dance)

Ok, I just posted a quilt top on my blog that is perfect for winter doldrums!! Very happy colors. I accepted a challenge from Jess to get at least 20 more tops quilted before the summer is over. I will do this one soon.

I think they are only red in the movie. I still need Toto (the kids are not sure they want to be a dog or a flying monkey!!) The munchkins are going to be cute, as are the singing flowers that sing a lullabye to make the characters fall asleep!

Jess---Books-plural...they only made one movie, but there was a whole series of adventures in Oz....which you prob knew...
And though I've read a fair number of them...I can't remember the original color of the shoes...
aah..wikipedia says that they changed them to red from silver, to take advantage of the new Technicolor film process...interesting...

We have had Ronnas sourdough perculating here for a while. In fact I can't remember when she shipped it to us but dang girls it makes good bread. I wrote the pizza recipe down just haven't got to it yet. Working on still catching up with the house so I can go do the sewing room. One thing at a time, that is for sure.

Bev, you dress is so divine girl.

Bonne you aren't using all your machines at once...oooppss the one in North Colorado would be a bit tough. lmbo, I can just see your running back and forth between all of them with yarn trailing behind you.....lol

"The Ruby Red Slippers"?? How could they be silver??
I remember a seeing them at Walmart a couple or few years ago~I was sorely tempted 'cause they came
in big girls sizes too.
I want to be the Lion or one of the Guards at the witch's castle with a big battle axe.

My gawd!!! I can't believe those quilts Sheryl-lyn cranks out!! And works all day too!!
