Carrie ~ Even then, some folks still don't like handmade gifts. I have relatives like that.
Naomi ~ Well you certainly seem a lot smarter than I was at 18yo, that's for sure.
Theresa ~ Glad the baby's doing better!

WWWWWWoooooohoooooiiieeeeee, we are on page 700, now that is something girls to say the least!!!!!!! And I got to see it, figured I would be sleeping when you girls got up and went for it.
Jess, you could have called here, Dan would have been up and told you what might have worked. Do like the girls said, hairdryer, and low wattage bulb. Dan used his trouble light, we also used a little ceramic heater to help thaw those pipes. Crap girl, I am so sorry the weather and water woes have hit your place. That majorly sucks!!!!!!!
Challenged with the fibro sitting in my ribs and back and making life just plain poooeeeeeyyyyyyy buckets, but you rest and do what you need to. Like reading and finding out what my friends have been up to today.
Lanna, sicko kids, not fun at all. or was it Ruth or Monica, nuts now I can't remember. I think my brain may be on overload trying to remember everyone.
Ronna's starter is great girls and glad that you are getting some. We really like the taste in our bread, Dan's starter is only 5 years I think. He had one that was ten and it bailed on us. Unbeknowst to us our frig was going bad and it got our sourdough.....that majorly sucked. The older is gets the smoother it gets. Ahhh good bread is great, and since I don't have to make it even better. Hubby Dan is the amazing bread baker at this house. And he does dishes, every day for me. Now that is spoiled....grin.
I am almost caught up on the laundry. Whoppiieee, I am getting there and the bathtub was in on Thursday so I got to take a shower in my very own shower. So little by little I am getting there, who knew it would take me this long to just get things back in order, but I have to say it feels nice getting it done.
Someday soon it means I can work finally on the sewing room, yep, that goal there. Hoping we can keep the grands well and mama too. LFD was looking a might poorly there, sleep deprived makes life challenging for any of us. Speaking of that I think I finally may be able to sleep, I could use some good sleep. See you girls in the morning....or afternoon....lol
HAPPY 700 PAGES, WE DO LOVE A GOOD CHAT!!!!!!

lmao i should have known it would be mom that turned it over to 700 without even realizing it, just trying to comment as she goes reading the pages. it really makes it a jolly good one
happy 700th page woohoo.
dang it i missed the booby prize not that i need any its just i would like a replacement for the stretched out tube soxs that seem to be mine anymore and soon to get more deflated as he gets to eatin the real food:( maybe when i am in my mid thirties i will get them perked up lol forget botox for the head how about botox for your boosums. ok i am off to bed again(no i havent slept yet but i sure tried to earlier, my head has been hurting and it makes it hard to sleep(yes mom i took something for it,lol)). night or morning depending where you are or who you are

Speaking of sourdough starter, I did it the MJ way with the King Arthur flour/purified water and all I get is a sour bowl of blah! No bubbling at all! I'm supposed to mix the recipe up this morning for it to rise and bake tonight but my starter definitely needs some Viagra!!!http://www.maryjanesfarm.org/snitz/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=28238&whichpage=6 I'd wind up with flat bread if I go ahead and mix it up to "rise". I think I'll scrap it and wait for Ronna's starter to arrive.

Carol, I am going through major withdrawal. No machine yet, or any news yet. This place is the only one left in close by to take the machine to. Sorry about your pain Carol.
Jess, sorry about your pipes.
WOW! We have reached 700. I wonder if 800 will come as quickly as 700 did.

good mornin girls...well i have just spent the last 4 hours at the hockey rink. fun when it is 16*...feels like a heat wave.
ok workin on some pipes still, only the one to the washer...yikes...laundry pilin' up.
John should be here for this....oh well, women are strong creatures, right?
one day i really wanna go somewhere warm and sunny and not worry about animals, pipes, car starters, warm houses, frozen tie outs, chapped lips, cheeks and hands. I swear my hands feel like sandpaper.
one more hockkey obligation this afternoon, then nothing else til monday night, how awesome is that!!!

Jess~Sorry to hear about your pipes. That's a pain.
Steph~I do homeschool. She wants to start dual enrollment at the community college next year.
I cut my finger pretty badly yesterday while trying to slice the bread I made. Thought it would never stop bleeding. It still bleeds a little when I touch it because it's deep and right on the side of my first finger. I had to go to work last night. It was so cold. Today I am headed to the yarn store. Need some more yarn. Putting the final touches on these owl hats. I am hoping to have them all done by Monday. Then I need to start on all the swaps I signed up for. I hope to have all that done by the end of next week. We'll see.
I hope you all have a great day today.

For those who know Sheila/Pinkroses, she is in the hospital. Sounds like she had seisures. Say some prayers for her. She posted it as a topic.

Oh, geez, I email with Carmen and you'd swear she was 21. She does a great job. Probably knows more than her mother.lol I've ordered from Joann's. Let's see......any fabric I've ordered online, from Hancocks or Joanns hasn't been shipped exactly what I'd call "promptly".
