I am going through memory lane. I told dh that I need my embroidery software, and I thought that it was put safely away in the attic before we went on a trip. Now, dh is clearing the attic. I showed my boys their p.j.s/costumes that we have pictures. My youngest son has a picture of him in this monster outfit. He says, "I want to keep that." I told him that I only kept my favorite outfits that I used for them and also their favorite toys. Still no software. Sigh

| I cannot seem to part with any of my kiddos things, we let others borrow, but i always make sure i get it back, just costumes and stuff like that. I have kept select outfits, but lots of toys i have kept. I feel like a pack rat, but i know at some point they may want it. i hope atleast. |

Yea!! We got a White Christmas today! Yesterday was around 50 and mild, and this morning there was several inches of snow on the ground and it's still a'coming down. Unfortunately I still had to go out in it to visit pets this morning, and the driving was a bit treacherous. Hope everyone has a lovely holi-day!

No snow here!:( I had high hopes when it started raining, and even higher when I saw "chance of sleet" but that went away when I saw "not enough to accumulate". what a let down! hahaha

Hey apron sisters! I forgot to make my Christmas apron! Still not too late....maybe today. LOL Got fat quarters and some 1/2 yard...could be good for a patchwork, country quilt looking apron, don't ya think? I figure if I love the apron I'll wear it anytime during the year and enjoy it. :-) Danny boy still doesn't have his own (lost his last one and it was really nice). I'm due for apron sewing. Still can't figure out how to email my cell phone pics, or to get my new digital working. When I find the book for the cell I'll study it and have pics soon! I used to love taking and emailing pics.

ME TOO! I Have to start the gardening ideas- we have my daughter's wedding in the yard in APRIL! Good thing it's a really BIG yard- looks like maybe 200 people. Just can't seem to downsize it any. I have the most wonderful dependable friends- we help "marry" all our kids- and have done it for years! None of us have the money for big affairs. Hope all of you had a wonderful christmas and enjoyed your families- I know I did!!!
Blessings, Autumn Farmgirl #49

I love spring, I think the flower catalogs should tart rollin in next week, right. I have big plans, but for now, just dreaming. But I know exactly where I need to add flowers to which beds, and what veggies do I wanna have this year? I need to turn the manure I put in at the end of fall...cannot wait to get my new boots dirty. Oh yeah, I finally got the boots I have been beggin for since 2003!! Whhhoooooo Hoooo....I not can go out and do all the nasty farmy chores without worryin about my feet. I dont like work boots, and I am not a fan of cowboy boots, so the in between works for me. the kids all had great christmas' and so did I, so we are all cozied in for the rest of winter in my freshly cleaned house. I wish you could all be here to enjoy the cleanliness with me.
Anybody got any good names for my new dressform friend. Got her too, needed her badly and there she appeared under the tree! Yee Haaww! A sewin I shal be! okay gotta go..12 more hours with the inlaws! |

I have a small patch of grass that I could make into a garden. Some of my neighbors have them. You gals are getting me inspired. I used to have a large garden when I lived in Missouri a long time ago. I love homegrown veggies, especially tomatoes and onions. My neighbors could show me what is growing good for them. One of them had very tall sunflowers growing...they looked great next to his porch.
